Seriously?

According to former Vice President Al Gore: “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis”. Have we 'been at the sauce again', Mr. Gore?

I guess that you will just have to live with it.

After all this is America & every one is free to open their mind or keep it closed.
So if your are cold just turn up your heat & burn more f****l f**l releasing more carbon into the air & add to the problem or not as you seem to see.

Are you suggesting we should shut off our heat sources and freeze to death?

The wind chill here is to get into the -30sF range.. c'mon up and show all of us dummies how to survive without heat, ok?

Perfect analogy of what the left does all the time on a myriad of topics. Turn down your thermostat while I jet set all over the world. Don't secure the border while I build a wall around my house. You shouldn't have guns but I'll hire body guards who carry guns. The list goes on and on.

You right wingers are like an out of control group of Jr. high children..

For starters the CC axiom does not predict specific weather events.. It does state however to expect weather extreams.. That is what we have this week.

cold, storm, and tidal surge all at once on the east.. Must be unpleasant. Even we have had cold weather for over a week.. Nothing record busting, but low of 20plus below zero..

The last 3 years at this time we have had brown Christmas and even rain during this period.. our snow this year is only about 4 or 5 inches but at least is white.

These weather extremes have been with us for years, each seem worse than the last.

Hurricanes, you say we have not had much other then last summer.. that is correct, but the pacific has had record storms several of the last years.

so the extremes will continue, when and where no one knows until the get to us..

And you think that because anyone with a brain accepts that CC is upon us that we should be able to tell you how to fix it...

Well surprise.. I am going to tell you how to fix it.. You have been told at least a 1000 times but have never listened..

Stop greenhouse gases...... Reduce the f****l f**l use... Not any mystery... I told you that you would not like it and pretend it is not true.. But it is and only you, the orange man and Pruitt stand in the way of success..

If you live in the eastern half of North America, you may have noticed that it’s cold outside, and not just because it's winter. While much of December has been unusually warm, these past few days have seen temperatures drop to the point where hot water spontaneously turns into snow when thrown.

So why is it so cold? It may seem like an easy joke to make a pun about g****l w*****g, but actually increasing temperatures are partly to blame. Of course sometimes it justgets cold in winter, but a lot of the e*****e w*****r the Northeast is experiencing right now has to do with c*****e c****e.

As the Arctic—and the rest of the globe—gets warmer, these changing temperatures can have an effect on the jet stream, the band of air that travels west to east, typically near the U.S. border with Canada. Normally, it acts like a barrier, keeping cold Arctic air trapped in the northern latitudes and away from most of the people on the East Coast. At least, in theory.

In practice, a warming Arctic strains the jet stream’s ability to keep all that cold polar air locked away in the north. When the jet stream falters, that polar air can make its way south, sometimes as far as the Gulf Coast. And over the next week or so, that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Take a look at these air pressure maps of North America:

Atmospheric pressure maps of North America, from Sunday Dec 31 through Thursday Jan 4.
DOC/NOAA/NWS/NCEP/WPC
These maps show that air from the far north of Canada is flowing south into the American Midwest and Northeast, which is why it’s so cold outside right now. Normally the jet stream keeps that air confined to Canada, but thanks to c*****e c****e it's taking a hard right after passing the Rockies and heading south almost to the Gulf Coast.

So if you’re stuck outside on the East Coast this week freezing your extremities off, you can thank g****l w*****g.

I appreciate that my friend, but I've learned how to dress for the cold weather since it's been so warm.

Above we have a perfect example of a frozen brain.

Having spent some time in Madison and Black River falls Wisconsin and in Minneapolis Minnesota in the middle of winter, I can attest that those Yankees freeze their minds into a slush and any hair brained ideas they come up with until the middle of July when their snow melts, should be ignored at all costs.

I think it must be a carry-over from time long gone. (TAKE A LOOK AT THE BELOW PHOTO) and try to understand the depth of the stupidity.

The question is: If it is cold enough to freeze the lakes and river, why go there, saw it up and then haul it back to the ice house, when you could just build water troughs next to the ice houses, fill them with water, freeze them on site and omit all those t***sportation costs?

Do you realize the silly Yankees actually think they won the war of Nauthern Aggression.?... What foolishness.

What an admission! You can't understand anything beyond what a sixth grade student can grok!

The Arctic is warm, and because of that the cold air moving east from Siberia does not flow south into Alaska and western Canada the way it normally does. Instead it travels across the Arctic Ocean to eastern Canada and only then is able to go south.

You get cold weather because a huge area in the Arctic is much warmer than normal. That is a w*****r p*****n.

The fact that we see that pattern much more often today than we did decades ago is C*****e C****e.

The cause for this C*****e C****e is mostly man made and relates to "green house" gases.

That is indeed too complex for children to understand. You don't seem to realize that how cold it is today where you live is directly related to how warm it is somewhere else and that your car exhaust is contributing to that.
