Wow, haven't listened to this in way too long. All legends, this is roots. Raw, our music the way it should be performed. Agree, don't forget Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, BB, Sam Cooke, Fats, Nat, etc. I could list more of those that influenced what is real music. This now, what I call Rap Crap, is nothing more that noise. Can any Group now compare to the Platters ? What about the O Jays ? Who now has the voice of Barry White ? What female singer now can sing like Aretha, Lady Ella or Mahalia ?
