Excerpt:
At a meeting of the Ripon Society held in Washington, D.C.’s exclusive Capitol Hill Club on Tuesday, new Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Mike Shields effectively declared war on the conservative grassroots. In a strong attack, Shields coined a new derogatory term, “the professional right,” to refer to groups that have publicly criticized the recent RNC “Autopsy” report.

“It’s a term I’ll be using often in the coming months,” he told the crowd of about 40 Ripon Society members, RNC insiders, and Capitol Hill staffers. But Reagan biographer Craig Shirley, who was not one of those in attendance at the meeting, was quick to note that Shields’s new term had already backfired. “As opposed to what, unprofessional Republicans?” he shot back.

My thinking is that if they have finally decided to commit suicide, they may as well do it fast. This is as good a way as any. They began the dirty deed years ago - time to really get with it, I suppose. I think they are completely out of their minds..........and I use the term loosely.

The folks in the Republican Party focused on retaining power devoid of principle are as damaging to our future as those who think the government is Santa.

These establishment Republicans are every bit as responsible for deficits as the Democrats - and largely because of their support of crony capitalism in the different forms of corporate welfare.

Tom, you and I are in total agreement here - appealing to special interests works too well and at the detriment of the total common good. That's why we need an informed e*****rate, one that understands sub-optimizing to the narrow benefits of some will destroy it for all.

You conservative republicans better wake up. The insiders have control. There is only one option. Form a 3rd party. To begin, all of the elected conservatives need to bolt from the republican party and yes, welcome conservative democrats. Don't leave out conservatives from the libertarian, constitution, and other coservativ groups. We need to take the government back from both reps & dems anti constitutional parties. The republican insiders have sold out our contry. They will never change.

Precinct politics is where the rubber meets the road, you want to change things get involved at that level. If you are interested send me a private email and I will send you some very good links on how to take over political parties. If you think it can't be done look at what the Marxist have done to the democrat party.
