Not that I care but how do you know that? Mike

From my point of view. You are in a place where the OPP crew of several stripes will nail you unmercifully. If you are liberal or conservative. Admin has determined the spelling of words they find acceptable. While admin sells space to the marketers of women usually from muslim countries. Go figure.

I'm with you, I get along with almost everyone as I don't care what they want to believe and I don't share unless asked what I believe as long as you don't try to make me believe what you do. NO ONE WILL SHOVE THEIR BELIEF ON ME. They will die first. Mike

Thank you welcoming me. Im very familiar with ridicule. I live in Oklahoma so I know all too well about ridicule, hatred and religious beliefs. I have friends on both sides of politics. I think it's possible to honor beliefs from any side and possibly make long lasting friendships that dont share my beliefs. Thanks again for welcoming me.

I agree, sorry about your RA, that's a major b***h. Especially for someone who likes to be active. I'm a perfectly healthy, 67 yr. old and can keep up with my Daughter and Son-in-law in the Piedmonts of Va. deer hunting. BUT, my wife isn't in the same shape so I have to pass up doing things with the club even though I/we pay $450.00 a year to belong. I leave the house at 0330 to go hunting and come home at 1630(4:30) when I do go hunting. Part of my "I do" promise. I can understand where you're coming from and if you need a b***h session, you'll be able to get it here even if it's on the side. Sometimes it's good to spew.

What ever, Welcome aboard. Mike

Ok, but remember that you asked for more about me. I have Cherokee blood, so I'm glad to hear from you. My father was a minister and I grew up going to church. I'm a Christian but I also believe in science. My mother is still a licensed, ordained minister. I'm married for 39 year and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I love my family and my husband's family. I'm 59 and I have a love/h**e relationship with politics. I went to college after 15 years out of high school. When I graduated I worked with mentally ill people in a 'day treatment' facility. I then got an interview with the Department of Human Services and went to work there for 19 years. I had to take a medical retirement due to Rhuematoid Disease, and a couple other autoimmune diseases. I h**e being sick because I was always pretty healthy before and this disease changes you. I can't do things physically as I was used to. I've lived in a lot of places but I may leave Oklahoma someday. I love my house, built in 1925, but it has stood the test of time. I'm tired of writing. Hope you have something here that you enjoy reading. Cheers....

Since we work with the neighbors and brew our own beer and wine I have gotten used to more interesting brews. My favorite beers are Irish Red and India Pale Ale, but a good oatmeal stout in the winter also works well. No light beers, ever, that is like making love in a canue (f**king near water)

I'm new here and a political junkie and I want to be informed and know what is going on all over the world, because it seems to me that America is everywhere and so much that happens that we don't know about and I wish, I want that to change. I am interested in anyone's opinions and believe we all should be able to state our opinion without fear of ridicule or worse.

Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay...

Welcome, lady. I read these guys from the shadows for more than a year before I jumped in the pool. I have stated on here several times that I would like to see people trying to find common ground rather than underlining their differences. And, as a resident of Illinois, I get the jokes as well about where you live. Heh. Don’t let them get you down. Everyone on here has something to offer you. Even Raylon. Raylon offers graphs and charts. You will understand after a bit

Yes, Raylon offers charts and graphs. The data may be totally inaccurate, and highly misleading as well as not being pertinent to the subject under discussion but they are charts and graphs anyhow.

No genuine, sincere search for knowledge is displeasing to God/Allah.

It is the arrogance of those whose "opinions" for themselves have the certainty (in their minds) of "fact", that are untenable.

So remember, ask the right questions, to find the answers. Forewarned is forearmed.

Also, I find it hard to believe that any "average Joe American" is really concerned about problems in other parts of the world. Someone on this forum told me so.
