What happened to the time when we embraced the difference between a girl and a boy? I was raised working with my Dad working on a ranch. He taught me that girls could do MANY things a boy could do! Notice I said many and not ALL! I worked beside the boys at the neighborhood branding'........ And I was always a lady!!!! It is possible to do both. This generation of young people are missing a whole lot of fun!!!! SOME of the young boys are becoming to be wussies and the young girls Hypermasculine. Where does this insanity stop? Is it going to get to the point where there is only one sex? GOD made us different for a reason, we have different roles to fulfill. A man can't say, "looking good there , lady" without being accused of sexual harassment!! I wonder what would happen if a woman slapped a man on the butt and made kisseeeee sounds? Oh well!!!! I know! I'm outdated-obsolete- and totally out of touch with today's society!?????

Have you seen the "requirements" for second class scouts now? It shouldn't be a problem for most girls anyway. When I was in the Boy Scouts, second class scout requirements included 5 5 mile hikes and one ten mile hike, cook a meal over a fire that you started with no more than 2 matches and use NO utensils to do it, Things like that. Is that too tough for today's little angels?
I only got as far as Life Scout, as basketball and cheerleaders started occupying more and more of my time that I would have spent working on Eagle.)

Loki, my friend i'am sure you wanted 5.5 mile hike not 55 lol, my scout, g- son spotted that and asked me " grandpa did you get your badge for that, man poppa you guys were tough back in them olden days". Whew if we have a 55 mile to do , can we have about a week to finish? Lmao. Son in law, like son ,was cub scout master on. Fort Leonard Wood Mo. Now boy scout leader here, got job with Homeland Security , just retired 24yrs Army E.O.D. so i have been filling in for him with sgt. Cruz. Lol it's a hoot. The Boy Scouts dropped a bombshell announcement Wednesday - they are going g****r inclusive. The BSA is about to open its tents to girls -- from Cub Scouts to Eagle Scouts.

"This decision is true to the BSA’s mission and core values outlined in the Scout Oath and Law. The values of Scouting – trustworthy, loyal, helpful, kind, brave and reverent, for example – are important for both young men and women,” said Michael Surbaugh, the BSA’s Chief Scout Executive. “We believe it is critical to evolve how our programs meet the needs of families interested in positive and lifelong experiences for their children."

The move is expected to result in yet another mass exodus of boys from the once-heralded scouting organization.

“When you lose your moral compass the next thing to go is the courage and conviction to navigate in contrary times,” Trail Life USA's Mark Hancock told the Todd Starnes Show.

Trail Life USA is a Christian scouting organization that was founded after the Boy Scouts were conquered by a vocal group of L**T activists. Trail Life now has more than 28,000 active members in nearly every state.

Hancock warned the Boy Scout's decision was one more example of a "war on boys."

"Boys are losing out because we are focusing on them. We are not celebrating with them the wildness, the daring," he said.

Leaders with American Heritage Girls, a faith-based, all-girls program, say it's important for girls to have their own programs.

"American Heritage Girls is committed to its girl focus and will not acquiesce its dedication to girls due to enrollment decline or political correctness," Patti Garibay said.

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins also joined the Todd Starnes Show -- wondering if the Boy Scouts will have to drop the word "boy" from its title.

"This is the slippery slope. Where does it stop? It doesn't stop until the Boy Scouts is a mere shadow of what it once was. They want the symbolism without the substance and that's where we are headed," Perkins said.

He tells me he's not terribly surprised by the decision -- calling it a war on boys.

So don't be surprised if you see the Boy Scouts marching in the next Nasty Woman protest -- wearing pink neckerchiefs and matching knit p**** hats.

Soon, a new generation of g****r inclusive scouts will earn Emasculation Badges and social justice pins and volunteer for community service hours at the local Planned Parenthood a******n mill.

I wonder if the Boy Scouts are going to start selling cookies?
