Every mass shooting over last 20 years has one thing in common... and it's not guns
It still isn't the guns that k**l, now it is the psychiactric drugs. How did those bullets enter the victims bodies? I believe some of the kids from the Newtown massacre had as many as 10 bullets in them. Where did those bullets come from?
No one has been sweeping the psychiatric drugs under the rug. They have been up front from the being.
That is what background checks are for, keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. At this time only 60% of gun buyers go through a background check, if they fail they can go to a gun show or get a friend to buy one for them.
Why would the NRA want any kind of gun reform? They are not for their members, they are for people who sell guns and gun manufacturing. That is what keeps their pockets lined with green.
My step-son works for Smith and Wesson. I would not want him to lose his job, but he and I both, along with 92% of Americans support gun reform.
