Government and insurance companies are at the root of all problems. Go back seventy-five years, before government and insurance companies became the behemoths they are today. I realize it's naive to compare those days with today, however, things could be less costly and complicated if the desire is there to make them so.

Reading a piece in our local paper last evening, I learned that for some reason, many rural hospitals and healthcare providers are unable to receive the discount for medications and drugs that larger facilities are able to obtain.

One issue was a costly stroke medication that is imperative for recovery if received in a timely fashion. The healthcare provider indicated, due to the inability to receive price discounted medication that, their facility could only afford to keep one pill on hand at a time. The hospital pharmacist is concerned about a possible situation of two-stroke victims and only one pill.

I don't recall the government program the discounts fall under, but I'm almost certain that a lobbyist had something to do with the rural facilities being denied access to the discounted medication. And, herein lies the problem, we have too many lobbyists working the halls of Congress.

Irrelevant to my post. Try your nonsense on someone else who may be less informed than I.

You intimate 20M people should rest easier. I said you are an i***t who pukes disinformation and tries to blame your lies on Trump and the right.

Pick a subject you understand and be germane to the posts you respond to instead of trying to shift focus.

Better yet, shut.up and move to NK.

asswipe, list one medical care group promoting this mutant legislation. The AMA, American cancer society, lung association AARP, MS society and Muscular dystrophy associations all realize this screws sick Americans and oppose it. Wake up you clueless sheep.

It is obvious that the ACA is in a death spiral. If the democrats truly cared about people they would be working with the republicans to salvage every bit they can for these people they say they care about, but it is more important to the dems to use healthcare to discredit Trump et al than to provide for people like the young lady who began this thread.

I am very sympathetic to any who fear losing life sustaining coverage and I.doubt that will happen, but people need to face the reality that this coverage is not sustainable

No country on earth with socialized or national health care is anywhere near the population of America and like it or not, the cost rises exponentially. Double the population coverage costs much more than double the cost and America is as much as 5--10x the population of some of these countries being used as models. There are no realistic models, no comparisons. It is an apple/orange scenario at best. And some countries with national healthcare do it through private coverages, not governmental. Such as Germany with some 130+ insurance companies.

To that add the fact that now the left has admitted there is no possible way to fund a one payer system such as proposed by Bernie.

I would suggest to this above referred lady that she write Trump. He has intervened before and the effort will only cost a stamp and envelope.

These accusations of people dying due to.the proposed changes are unfounded.

Does anyone really believe career politicians would so willingly stick their necks in a noose then voluntarily jump off a building?

Hmm..."the cost rises exponentially"? Where did you get this idea?

Would the word "disproportionately" sound better to you?

Where did I get this idea? 45+ years of working in the industry. Where do your ideas originate?

Welcome. I pay for this stinking Obamacare so please help me. My premium is more than my house payment was. I'm also in Florida and didn't ask for anyone else's help to clean up. Thankfully not much damage. If you were born with this disorder how did you survive before the ACA?

So drop your coverage, save your premium, and cover yourself.

16 Million Forced Into ACA Will
As Soon As The Opportunity Presents Itself

Then We'll Be Back To The 7-8 Million Dems And The ACA
Screwed Everything Up For Every One Else To 'Save'

Dems Invent A 'Crisis' To Show How Much They Care
Then Make It Into A Crisis That Can Never Be Fixed

hi gracie sorry to hear about your health problem .i say we all need a GOOD HEALTH PLAN!!!!!!! i think everyone should not charge so much for helping people
i remember in 1984 & on till 1999 i could go to my doctor & he would charge about 30.00$ now it is i bet 150.00 & up & sometime they dont do that much
by they charge the doc i go to i only have to pay 5.00$ for the visit the insurance pays the rest ..the system is getting greedier & do not really care about the patient my old doc pasted away i think in 2001 ...
