Obamacare is Socialism, but Social Security was started out as an insurance to guarantee people a retirement in their later years. The money that people paid in was held in it's own fund to be drawn out according to how much had been paid in.It was only after SSI and Medicaid was v**ed in that it became Socialism. That is, the government took control of this money and gave it to those that had never paid in to it.

Just mind boggling how in one year we had created a pace of such a massive expansion of Gov't. Regulations can't be written fast enough. His first year in office both chambers of congress were democrats. One thing I have to say about the democrats is they do have a united front and can be very focused on their objectives.

The republicans haven't been united since the 'Contract with America'. The plan Clinton was proud to have signed multiple bills into law.

The only way to repair the U.S.A. economy is to go back to the I.R.S. Tax codes of 1980, before President REAGAN 1981, trickle-down economics that changed the I.R.S tax codes to help the rich & famous americans only, and to return to the financial regulations of Senators GLASS & STEAGAL that our U.S. Congress repealed in 1999, and President CLINTON signed into law that is responsibly for the economic catastrophe of 2007 in WALL ST. the melt-down of real state, and the 17 trillions dollars Federal deficit we have today.
