My grand parents came here @ the turn of the 20th century. They had not only required to speak reasonable English but had to find jobs and support them selves. It was because of these rules that those immigrants became great Americans rather than some of the garbage we are taking in today. Think about Dearborn, Minneapolis, and other besieged cities. I gotta admit that it is funny watching people who barely speak english, and both speak different languages try to communicate.

Walmart hires them everyday. If they can't speak English how do they get a work permit? I ask an elderly latin lady the other day where a product was, and she could not speak a word of English. When I ask her in Spanish how she got this job, and even speaking to her in Spanish, she told me that to sweep the floor you didn't need to speak English!
Do these people have the correct documentation to even be in this country legally? Who is vetting these people that allows this to happen? I agree with the person that asked how many languages must we learn to speak in our own country??

Many of these people know some english. They choose not to use or learn our language. I am a Industrail Pipe Insulator and work with and around mexicans, alot of mexicans. Sometimes I get a friend to hang around and listen to the mexicans and believe me they know more than they say they know. My friend speaks and understands their language and they don't know he knows their language and they talk cold, cash s**t about w****s and b****s. They talk s**t about the company they work for, (the place where they live, the UNITED STATES) and a number of other things they don't like. People say you are a r****ts for not liking them or not wanting to be around them. They are a very r****ts people. I don't understand why people born and raised in AMERICA (b****s, w****s, or wh**ever race you may be) don't like and are always talking s**t about my country. They want to get here and live the good life but they are offended by everything. So they get the demos to change the very laws that this country was founded on. If you are offended by GOD and FREEDOM please leave, and that goes for everyone that does not like it here. Go live in your own country and put up with the muslims that k**l anyone that does not bow down to them, or the drug cartels that k**l your family for not running their drugs, etc. I believe the US should stop taking all these people in and take care of your own.

All good points, and true. I'm in healthcare, and I have too many in here, been in the states for twenty plus, who still don't know English. Ridiculous!!
