After Obama openly proclaimed in his State of the Union address that he would ignore Congress and give amnesty to millions of i******s, unilaterally raise the minimum wage, and act without Congressional approval on a host of other issues, Americans got worried that Obama was turning into a dictator.

What is on the horizon, however, may shock you.

Ever wonder why Obama is on a spending spree with no end in sight despite that fact that we’ve amassed a staggering debt that just eclipsed seventeen trillion dollars and is projected to be twenty trillion by 2016?

Last year, the International Monetary Fund—of which the U.S. is a member—ordered Greek citizens’ bank accounts and pensions be “taxed” to pay off their unsustainable debt. This “tax” amounted to a staggering ninety percent of Greek citizens’ life savings!

Could Obama be planning the same thing in the United States?

Not only is he planning it, but he tried to do it in 2010, and was only stopped when the Democrats lost control of the House of Representatives in the 2010 mid-term e******ns.

But now that Obama is claiming dictatorial powers, nothing will stop him from doing wh**ever he wants: seizing Americans’ savings, dissolving Congress and the Supreme Court, and proclaiming himself to be “dictator for life.”

Obama stated that he has a pen and a phone and will do what moves the country and won't wait on Congress. Is this what he meant. Are we about to have our life savings stolen by the Government People say they don't believe that this could happen in this country. You would have to be foolish to think that this can't happen. What is to stop them? All they have to do is push a few buttons on their computers and poof it is done. R**ting in the streets, marching on the Capital, running to the banks will have no effect. The government is fully "locked and loaded" to handle our little small arms by bringing out the military and Homeland Security and others to quash any resistance the people could mount.

Do I think this will happen? I don't know, but it did happen in Greece and our debt makes Greece look like small potatoes. Yes, it could happen and I for one have taken my money out of banks and hold it in a safe place nowhere near a bank or government run institution. Wake up and protect yourself, just in case.

Right on, but a large part, probably a majority of Americans won't believe it and some will screech "It's about time the governmennt started taxing the rich".

The tax Obama had planned on banking t***sactions is on the back burner untill after the '14 congressional e******ns. That tax will be a huge one even yhough it will start at one percent on every bank t***saction. Make a deposit- 1% will be deducted, write a check - 1% will be charged to your account. Durect deposits or on line checking - same thing.

Get a loan- 1% taxon the total amount. Write a check for a payment on that loan, 1% for writing a check, another 1% for making the loan payment.

Who will pay all the expenses of all this accounting, collecting and turning over the money? the banks.
Where will the banks get the money to cover those expenses? From their customers by lower interest on deposits, higher fees, higher interest rates on loans.

How long before the 1% tax will be increased to 2%m then 3 then more? Not long

With that said, where on these posts did you see the noncapital o for Obama? I may be overlooking it but I can't see it. Besides all that you might have a legitimate b***h about: Obama, being called Obama, instead of Pres. Obama. To which I reply he doesn't deserve the title.
