"Here we go again, folks. After seeing that outrageous display that passed for a State of the Union address on Tuesday, we now have Obama’s clear promises that he is going to take dozens of executive actions in order to push his agenda through. He is going to act against the will of Congress simply because it is what he wants and, quite obviously, Obama should be coddled and have his every wish and whim catered to.

Now we have word that many House Republicans are working on legislation that would allow them to sue the president. Obviously, this would be for over reaching through executive actions. There is also another House Democrat (Tom Rice from South Carolina) who has been leading something called the STOP Act, which stands for Stop This Overreaching Presidency. It aims to bring a lawsuit against Obama for his abuses of power up to this point and to stop further unilateral actions. This is also pretty much the goal of the forthcoming GOP legislation as well."

Really???? They want to sue him? Talk about STUPID. You don't sue a President, you impeach him. That is the only cure for a President that is abusing his power. It really amazes me how stupid Republican Congressmen can get at times. They have 100 reasons for impeaching him and they are talking about suing him.

Why do you say Repub's are stupid when it also says in the article that Tom Rice (D) is also working on legislation called "Stop" If you are a Dem why not v**e 2014 to help Repub's gain Senate then they can proceed with impeachment.

They aren't enough v**es in the Senate to impeach the 3rd world dictator.
Suing him is a symbolic gesture at best. The only way to stop this guy from destroying what's left of our Nation is a landslide Republican victory 9 months from now.

If congress dosn't like the Presidents use of his executive authority all they need to do is pass a law precluding the particular action he takes provided it is not something that is constitutionally mandated. If any one else feels he has taken action that violates their constitutional rights they can file suit and have the action blocked by the courts.

Such a suit would be unconstitutional even though it has been allowed in the past it is still unconstitutional, so it wont' happen.

I agree and on his interview he "would not go there" approach and the same old lies about his the economy is on sure footing...sure footing, with companies laying off people because they are not going to pay for this mess, we the people are. Again, his raising of the minimum pay. do you honestly think that the companies are not going to charge the consumer with higher prices at the grocery stores? Texas is an exception, but other states he continues to intervene in their states because the states LET HIM. Our Gov. Perry (I never really cared for him until now) drew "a line in the sand" about sending Washington Bureaucrats into Texas to tell us how it's done. That may work in California, where their minds are blown from their heyday of past drug use and their children's parents past drug use has apparently gone to their heads. But they are paying for their support of him. He recently gave them the biggest tax hike in US history! They cannot even say anything about it because they supported him, now that they are waking up with fleas--it is their faults. But here in Texas, we have a balance budget, Hell we have a budget, ranchers patrolling the border and not screaming to the gov for more border security. We have "Help Wanted" signs on a lot of our businesses. We do it ourselves, because he would want something in return for his (our) border patrols. It's like an old movie I saw somewhere about the Civil War. You really don't believe that the Yankee Abolitionists really started that war. It was all about state's rights and they had a good reason--s***ery. We aren't crying for the Fed gov to help us, Hell, if we wanted to we could shut the entire border down from here to New Mexico all the way to Laredo. But these ranchers put their weekends aside, 10-12 men per truck, rifles and shotguns at the ready, We Texans take care of our own! They come from all over Texas, Hondo, Fredericksburg. Sequin, Sonora, El Paso, and when they catch them, they call in the Texas Rangers! Washington could learn a lot from us. BUT WE NEED TERM LIMITS, it will stifle corruption and they know that pretty soon they too will be constituents. Live Love from the great country of Texas!

Mr. Ed-impeachment by the House without any possibility of conviction by the Senate is both futile and a waste of time and money. Good Luck America !!!

Well MrEd, the people elected him to get things done. With the least productive congress in history he tries to get 'em done anyway he can. The glut of executive orders stem from int***sigent Republican refusal to bring issues to a v**e!
