I would like to say that this is a laudable bill, but I cannot given the state of our school systems which are mostly just propaganda centers intended to mold our children into sheep. I prefer an ill educated but willing to learn individual to a well educated sheep.

If Tennessee wants to cut welfare benefits to the recipents whose children are doing poorly in school, they will have to start with Walmarts CEO's.

30% of the food stamps issued by the government go to Walmarts employees. This is called the "Welfare - Walmart" loop.

And this is how it works:

They pay their employees poverty wages, their employees go on food stamps and the only place they can use the food stamps is at Walmart. 4.5% of the companies profits is from food stamp usage.

Tennessee will have to look no further that their own Gov. Bill Haslam. Since GOP states spend more in taxes than they collect from their state, they rely upon federal money. Yes, Red States are Welfare Queens.

When Texas Gov. Rick Perry was told this information he replied "There is nothing wrong with taking federal money." Oh, really, didn't Mitt Romney say people who depended upon federal money were takers?

Until the Red States can get their act together, the Blue States will have to cover their asses. This is what Sarah Palin refers to as "spreading the wealth."

If you are an example of their work, you should be concerned.

The states that receive the lion's share of federal money are the "purple" or swing states, not the red or blue states. Little surprise there, right?

The graphic, from the www.politifact.com article, says:
Of the 32 states which RECEIVE MORE more than they contribute, 27 states (84%) are REPUBLICAN.
Of the 18 states which CONTRIBUTE MORE than they receive, 14 states (78%) are DEMOCRATIC.

In US Politics, What is a Purple State?
http://www.wisegeek.com/in-us-politics-what-is-a-purple-state.htm

If a Republican states turns purple it is going Democrat. If a Democrat turns purple it is going Republican. In any case, they are swing states because the v**e can go in any direction.

The first rule of asking for federal dollars in Texas is to never make it seem like you are asking for federal dollars.

For Gov. Rick Perry, this is a tricky line to walk.

Rick Perry's Texas gets plenty of money from the feds.

Panicked Texas Republicans May Throw $100 Million Back at Women's Health
http://jezebel.com/5988022/panicked-texas-republicans-may-throw-100-million-back-at-womens-health?popular=true

Since 1990, Congress has spent $1.5 billion taxpayers money funding schools to teach abstinence-only classes. The teenage birth rate has increased and STD/I's are on the rise. And Republican states continue to teach abstinence-only.

It appears few Texas Republicans learned critical thinking sk**ls, despite their best efforts to eliminate it from being taught in public schools.

Texas cut funding for Planned Parenthood that cost state taxpayers $73 million a year. And now the low income women are on Medicaid that will cost American taxpayers $237 million. Oops!!

The GOP governors cruel and unjust treatment of women has endangered millions of women's lives. By closing Planned Parenthood they have eliminated the right for low income women to have gynecological checkups or pre-natal care. Not one lawmaker went to the Planned Parenthood to find out what services they provided, they just said it was an "a******n clinic", closed them and said "fuhgeddaboutit".

The GOP's goal is to save the fetus, save the fetus, save the fetus. You have to have a healthy woman for the fetus to survive. If the woman has a miscarriage, she can go to jail. Take a drug addict off birth control, she gets pregnant, has a miscarriage, she goes to jail. She should have been in a detox center before becoming pregnant.

Patient care that Planned Parenthood provided and these women have lost is:

35% STD's/STI's - testing and treatment
35% Contraceptions
16% Cancer screenings and prevention
breast exams, and pap smears for cervical cancer prevention

Pre-natal care provided by Planned Parenthood

It also pays in more than its fair share. It takes less than it receives.

Planned Parenthood is a murderous s**m and should be abolished altogether rather than being given money by the federal government as it is now.

You are a Republican IKE, You are obviously an unmarried man or you would understand the seriousness of a woman not having regular gynecological check-ups. If you are married I pity your wife since Republican men have so little respect for women.

I can always tell a Republican woman, she has a "brown nose" from having her nose up her man's ass.

Only 3% of what Planned Parenthood services were a******ns. The GOP governors should have said stop the a******ns and continue offering other services.

These clinics were for low income women, women who have money can see their own doctors, low income women do not have that choice.

You better be careful with whom you have sex with, because STD's/STI's are on the rise, or make sure the woman you have sex with has money to see her own doctor. This is one of the many services that Planned Parenthood offered and women are not receiving.

As I said, the GOP' treatment of women is cruel and unjust and it is endangering the lives of millions of women.

Taxpayers will continue to cover the damages created by GOP IKE's.

Planned Parenthood cost Texas state taxpayers $73 million dollars, when that was defunded the women went on Medicaid, where they can get the same services as they get at Planned Parenthood, but at a cost of $273 million to the nations taxpayers.

For a party who claims to be the "no tax party" you sure create a lot of reasons for paying taxes.
