GOP crafts plan to wreck the country and lose v**es

Any Republican who v**es for an immigration bill that the Democrats want is contributing to this loss of v**es. Why would that be? I think every possible reason is listed in this piece.

I have been so much against John Boehner lately and now I hear that he is ready to try to force the amnesty bill through the House. Of course, he won't lose his high paying job in that he can always get on with some company as a lobbyist. I am sure that RINO John never gives any thought to the citizen worker when he switches sides on a law like this one.

I posted this in under another topic but it is about as clear an answer to your question as there is available. Republican leaders are between a rock and a hard place, they have to balance between not pissing off the xenophobes and r****ts that make up the very vocal core at the base of the party or alienating the center of the country that they desperatly need to win e******ns, a center that for the most part is sickened and offended by the h**e exhibited by some of the far right.

The extreme right of the Republican party pushed them over the top in 2010, they are a fickel bunch and feel entitled to have their way in terms of regressive Jim Crow policy. What was good for the Republicans a few years ago has become a mill weight that will drown the party as the nations demographics continue to change. V**er suppression, gerrymandering districts and stacking courts will buy them some time but not much. In short order Texas will be a blue state due to population shifts and much of the rest of the nation will follow. If Republicans don't cut The teabag folks off at the knees and start to move toward the center they are doomed to the same fate as the Whigs. What they are attempting to do now is to do just that slowly and with a scalpel rather than an axe.

So you think amnesty will settle most of our immigration problems or is that what you are talking about. I think that Miss Ann is talking about amnesty in her article.

The only Republicans who accept amnesty are those I call RINOs and they want it only hoping to gain some v**es.

Can you explain to me how Republicans like me who aren't supporting any Tea Bag groups are going to k**l the party? If so, have at it, and maybe you could tell me why so many of us are drawing away from Boehner who is now pushing for that amnesty.

As for amnesty, it was tried in 1986, supposedly coupled with better control of our borders and nothing happened other than the i******s who were here then were amnestied. Since the border is no more secure now than it was then, other than some sections of a wall having been built, because our President has told our border guards not to enforce that law, why would anything thrown in with the present bill bring on any more enforcement or anything good for us. Oh yes, Boehner and other RINOs are pushing this bill knowing full well that none of it will be enforced other than the amnesty part.

Could you tell me who controlled our Congress when the Jim Crow laws were passed by southern states? You seem to like to use the term and few Demoncraps of today really know much about the Jim Crow laws and who passed them.

The Jim Crow laws I am talking about are the v**er suppression laws being pushed by the far right. As anyone who paid attention in grade school history knows the Jim Crow laws of the old south were of course passed by the old Dixicrats who have as little iin common with today's progressives movement as Abe Lincoln has with today's republicans. The path to citizenship cuts through the heart of the republican party. The money half represented by big doners and the chamber is all for it, cheep labor, bigger markets you name it. On the other hand the base of the party h**es the idea of having all of those brown folks living next door, dating their daughters and working next to them. And it really irks them when the ATM and phone responses are in anything other than English the language in which Jeasus wrote the Bible. This issue will help melt down the GOP.

I don't know who Jeasus was but I didn't know that Jesus wrote the Bible. Hmmm, you people are full of news like that. So you really believe that will melt down the party that is against the party of Obama? You are really something.

I fear you don't know about the emails that many of us get daily three or four times about where the Democrats get their money. Nope they don't mention George Soros or any of his money laundering groups or even all the outside the countries that they get their money from but some of the lies in them really make me roll with laughter.

Identification would be one of your v**er suppression laws, I am sure. How do we know about citizenship without some kind of ID. Here in Kansas had to use our Driver licenses the last two times and we had to pay for those things. Of course, some people don't drive but they can get their IDs from the same place for free. Damn that hurts many of the i*****l a***ns to not be able to v**e for Demoncraps who provide all the goodies for them.

Perfect analysis. If Texas turns blue, its checkmate, game over. The Republicans would then join the Whigs, and will only exist as a "Jeopardy question" (apologies to Alex Trebeck).

I would ask you if you pray for that to happen but have to wonder if you pray.

Roy........When Reagan gave them amnesty back in the late 80's I told my dad now they've opened a door they should not have and there's no turning back since the next time there will be more of them to deal with. Well the next time is here now.

Personally I think the government should fine the living s**t out of any employer who hired i******s now or in the past and ship their asses back to where they came from. Had they done exactly that years ago we wouldn't have the problems with so many of them being here right now. Big business wanted cheap labor and got it.

You and I both know there are plenty of people in this country know where i******s live and work and turning them all in wouldn't be an issue except for our government who would have to deal with them all and figure out what to do with them. If you legal and can prove it Welcome To America my friend!

I'm also pretty sure you realize we have the most corrupt government on this planet that money can buy and have for many years.

I believe it was last week or the one before that the Legislature of the State of Texas were Democrats. Therefore Texas IS a blue state.

In the late 90s my sister managed one trick of a large truck stop that served excellent food. She said that occasionally somebody would run the door shouting that federal people were coming to check workers for green cards. Over half of the employees would run from the building but be back the next day. She said almost all the help in the kitchen always left immediately. If the employees could have been found illegal the employers, according to the 1986 law should have been fined at least $10,000 per employee. Now what would happen if that took place in any of the meat packing plants in western Kansas? The companies just couldn't afford to pay the fines. It is very sad that this corrupt government has allowed that to happen but you are sure right about that corruption and it hasn't always been Democrats, either.

Maybe you could read the information at this link and then look at the graph they have provided. I believe you have been looking at numbers in 1998 or before. Check them out now.

I did not look this up on line. Rather I heard it on the PBS radio station at home. The announcer said that the Legislature in Austin has become Democratic. Therefore Texas is now considered a Blue State.

Thanks for admitting you took that from a PBS broadcast. Of course, they never say anything like that that is not true because they are trying to haul water for the left leaning Demoncrats. You been had, lady.

Granted you had to pay for your drivers license but you should be aware that ID cards are NOT free.
