I fell on the sidewalk by tripping on a lifted paver (infrastructure). Compressed ( fractured ) rib, and you all know how long that takes to heal. Plenty of time to read the electronics, but have never posted. I'm a pilot so I always turn left, and that works for me. Thanks

Ouch, Michael, sorry about your rib. Lets have your opinion/thoughts on President Trump and the direction he is taking America..

Well, we're glad to have you here Mr. Pilot. Yeah, busted ribs are the worse! Been there, done that!

Me, being the resident, intellectual genius around here can only assume from your intro that you are a left winger. That's fine. There are many here already. Some good....some......not so much.
Jus hop on in, and tell us about it.

If you keep turning left you get nowhere.

That's nothing. You should try a broken ankle. I broke mine in two places. Took most of a year to heal. I was never so happy as I was to ditch those damn crutches.

Life is often a mixed bag, hopefully! The crew, aft of the cockpit, is reliably left, forward, not so much. Truman, McArthur, the bomb, all signposts in my history. SE Asia is indelible, as is the SF Bay Area. Can't say I'm intolerant, and crossing the Atlantic gives plenty of time to hone the discussion talents, but stars and bars and AK47's would not be my choice. Life is quieter now, but promoting ugliness prompts response, and for this we need resistance and all hands on deck!

Diversity of opinion is welcome, as long as it remains civil.

Yep; turn right, and you will go through a more extensive healing.
Welcome to the conversation.

Concur with you there, Mr. B. Broke ankle over 12 yrs. ago....apparently, in part I'm sure to my age, the pain and bruising has never gone away.

I guess I'm lucky. I'm 52 and I've only broken two bones. I've even been in a bike accident, and I didn't break anything. But I did rupture my liver. Let me tell you. Abdominal bleeding is no fun. Even though I was on a seldom used back road, I was fortunate enough to have my accident in front of the home of an off-duty paramedic. And that's not the only time God was looking out for me. I recently had a heart attack. I went into a mini mart because I wasn't feeling quite right. Didn't know why I thought I needed an ambulance. I wasn't in any pain, but something just didn't feel right. I walked inside and asked them to call 911, then immediately passed out. They had to give me CPR while waiting for the ambulance. How do I know there is a God? Because I'm still alive when I should have died several times over.

Funny thing is that it wasn't a problem with my heart. It was because of dehydration and low potassium levels due to chronic diarrhea.
