on the opp menu is a thread explaining this title all need to read it very informative and in blue is link to sign petition . They need all people that want to push for change to sign. This is the way for states to stop federal goverment over reach. They need the signature to push the reps to make good choice and to follow thru with this .It has taken a long time to get the right amount of states to agree. The people selected have already met and have a list of possible topic to v**e on. So read the info and if this is right for you sign the petition. This is another way for the deplorables to make a difference

Well, old buddy, I got into lots and lots of difficulty by placing some 'sign-up' stuff on this bd..
I will freely admit to being a stalwart member of the organization which is advocating a Convention of States. Why? Because it's one of our guaranteed rights and the time has never been more appropriate.

There are built-in safe guards relating to final adoption of any and all convention proposals, but the availability of alternate methods of reining in a run-away central government is extremely valuable.

Some things needing addressing would include the concept that we have a large elected "nobility class" which determines its own salaries, working conditions, benefits and they have made themselves immune to the laws they pass for all the rest of us. Add to that the fact that once elected, they are pretty much guaranteed a position for life and what you have is a dream of employment.

When was it you held a job wherein you determined your own salary, benefits, working conditions and were guaranteed perpetual employment regardless of job performance?

So, I'm in.
