We need the environment to be protected and I am all for doing as much as possible... though it seems like there are times when the greater good needs to be done..There was an incident back a few years ago when a water treatment plant in upper Chicago needed to update and expand due to human activities... however there was an endangered species of cattail growing in the marsh that was deemed more important than people..I can better understand protection of an animal as opposed to a certain plant when disruptive action is needed for the benefit of many people...

Many laws and regulations have been passed with unintentional side effects..And it seems that at some point the most well meaningful legislation gets exploited by either regular people or in a few cases entire industries are able to use loopholes to be able to thwart and game things in their favor...And can cause overreaching and excessive requirements also..we should find a balance and common sense needs to be utilized in many cases

From what I have seen ....it's the Ivy League schools like Columbia and Brown that the protests and non peaceful craziness is going on...All protests should be peaceful and orderly...Most students that attend Ivy schools come from well to do families as tuition on a yearly basis is 40k and higher...with a few such as Harvard , Princeton,Yale, being even much higher...I would like to point out that I don't like the chaos or the chanting of "death to America" along with burning of our f**g especially if it's by a student here with a visa...go back to your homeland if you don't want to be respectful and decent while you are here.. I have an observation with many of your posts Mr/Ms Radiance...I've read a few and you mostly say there is all criminals and gang members coming across the southern border...So I don't deny that there is probably a few people running from there deeds..but it's been proven that this is a political policy that both the Republicans and Democrats are putting false information and exaggerated t***hs ....I'm not trying to cut up your opinion ...but I've seen news sources that are saying there is a major shortage of migration workers that work the farms and that is another thing that causes prices to rise due to no labor ...A mushroom producer out in Colorado said he needs as much help as possible and ends up loosing half of the grown mushrooms due to rot ....I do agree that many things are wrong with this country...and I think a big fix could be either eliminate all political parties or we need at least 2-3 more parties that recieved equal funding...like in Europe there is 5-7 political parties ....I watched a few episodes of Joe Rogan experience and I found it to be very eye opening...one thing that many people don't realize is how many people in this country are not interested in actually doing what they get paid to do ...the agencies that collect money for the homeless do not want no more homeless people because then they would loose funds....drug treatment facilities want the revolving door of constant in and out of treatment and that insures a steady flow of money...it's the same with so many other organizations and charities....And this will not be an easy fix ... neither Democrats or Republicans are ready to tackle this problem and there are people behind the scenes that control everything...it makes sense ...one thing is how hard both sides wanted Snowden locked up and he is being protected by Putin as a possible leverage and who knows what else
