Not arguing on what is the best acceptable end of voting at this time. But it should be the same for every state. In house by election day, Post marked by election day, Drop boxes by election day.

But you shouldn't be able to vote later in one state then another. That should be absolute.

The Supreme Court Stopped the ballot counting in Florida when the mail in votes started trending to favor Gore.
Naming GWbush the winner before all the votes were allowed to be counted.
The reason they gave was because
“Bush would’ve been upset if he didn’t win !”
That was a fraud riddled election .
Harris destroying dem votes , jeb bush cutting dem votes.
The last Republican to win the election by popular vote was GHWBush , none since have captured the popular vote.

Maybe they should pass a law that if a state can’t count their ballots by a certain hour, that states votes won’t count! Null and void!!

I never understood the current reasoning.
A state has the right to its own election rules in all state voting, but there should be the same rules for every state in federal elections.
Not having the same rules for every state in federal elections opens up massive fraud in both democrat and republican states , fraud in the sense of favorable swaying to their respective parties.
In this manner , cheating states can’t illegally change voting rules at the last second like several states did in 2020.
Side note….
Election fraud should be a capital crime punishable by death because IMHO, that is treason against all the honest people wanting what’s best for their lives and communities.
I also feel that this country has gotten soft on treasonous behavior because they feel it’s barbaric and extreme. Sadly if they would have enforced those laws and punished people for their acts of treason, we wouldn’t be in the situation that we are currently in.

There is also a movement in about a third of the states to make it a law that no matter what their state voted, the will of their people, it's electoral vote will go to the National majority winner. Wrong on three counts. That is not within what the Constitution set up. Two, imagine a real close vote and having to recount the votes in 50 states for weeks and weeks. Imagine a vote with only a few thousand vote difference and those 1/3 states demanding that your state spend millions on a recount when you are happy with the electoral vote count on election day. There are more crazy outcomes possible.
