NotMAGA Loc: Upstate NY - in a very red county

Sharing one of my favorite websites for history lovers, or even general info. It's an amazing collection, some of it going back before the founding of the country.

An example of info that can be found in the LOC or (some of it) on its website:
I was looking at old maps earlier this week to see if I could find where certain families in our county lived 170 years ago, or in the reverse, comparing places today to the same places nearly 2 centuries ago to see what changes had occurred.

These old maps not only have names of the property owners written in over the property they owned, the good ones even have outlines of the houses that existed on the properties at the time the survey was done.

If you live in an older home and are curious about its history or the history if the people who lived there a century ago, the LOC may have the info.
