People are tired of the violence they commit against other races.
There may come a time when the shit hits the fan and the people will fight back and won’t stop until the 13% is reduced to 3%.

I see nothing good coming in the future, Obama has put a wedge between white/black and democrat/republican people. Trump smoothed it out when everyone was woo, everyone was making money and everyone was happy. The Democrats led by Fauci and Gates brought in Covid to disrupt Trumps successes and create massive fraudulent voting.
Now that Treasonous Biden is in office, he has continued the separation Obama started.

I have always told my 6 children (5 because I inherited a 17 year old stepson) that if you are right, I’ll fight to the end for you. If you are wrong, I’ll crucify you more than the other people would.
I have the same rules for politics, as I have spoken ill of most of the Rino’s.
Democrats don’t do that, they never correct or unapprove of the democrats in office no matter how wrong they are. Democrats always make excuses ( usually blame the Republicans)
Bottom line is that most (95%) of democrats will convince themselves that the democrat politicians are never in fault.
One small example is the black NY congressman stated that all J6 defendants should get the maximum punishment for disturbing congress but doesn’t think he should be held accountable for pulling the fire alarm to stop a vote in congress.
Not one democrat on this site said he was in the wrong. They all made excuses for that NY POS!

And I agree that freedom is essential. And I suspect that our major departure in viewpoints involves economics. But, freedoms should not be used to hurt others or their freedoms. And it is a fact that uncontrolled capitalism has frequently led to revolt and initiating a communistic form of government. Examples include Russia, Cuba, China, Viet Nam. Cambodia, and others going back into feudal days. Therefore, for capitalism to flourish in an environment of freedom and equality for all citizens, controls are necessary to maintain an acceptable level of equality and an acceptable standard of living. The consequences of failure to do that have proven to be horrible in many cases. Over the last 55 years, it is my opinion that insufficient controls on American capitalism have been in place to maintain a stable economic situation. The standard of living for workers has been gradually falling since about 1968. In that period, the already wealthy have increased their share of all the wealth in America to approximately 50 percent from the 35 percent in the 1960s. The working class, of course, lost that same percentage, resulting in a significant reduction in their standard of living. Fact is that today, nearly 40 percent of American workers are paid a wage defined as below federally cited poverty. I suspect what is going on in America today is the civil unrest due to the continuing loss in quality of life in the working class. I have cited, in articles in this forum, the reasons this is happening and the laws congress has passed at the behest of the wealthy and corporate interests that are directly responsible for the losses to the working class. I predict that if this doesn't change in the not very distant future, civil unrest will lead to civil war. Fortunately for me, I will be in my grave before that happens. At least I hope that is the case. A republican said it best. See the memes.

As a growing number of violent, antisemitic protests continue to sweep across the campuses of elite universities, we are witnessing in real time a coordinated attempt by the left to whitewash the facts.

While Jewish students at Columbia University and elsewhere were physically assaulted because of their ethnicity, Alexandria Ocassio Cortez spoke at an event before Joe Biden emphasizing the peaceful nature of the protests. When asked about the protests, President Biden said he condemns the antisemitic protests but also condemns those who don’t understand what is happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Apparently, disagreeing with Biden on Palestine is on par with physically assaulting Jewish students on college campuses.

Joy Reid and a guest on MSNBC downplayed and justified the violence against Jewish students claiming these “outliers” are necessary for change to occur. The familiar pattern of media coverage mirrors the 2020 race riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin that were infamously dubbed 'fiery but mostly peaceful protest' by CNN. These same progressives would have you believe words are violence while physical violence against Jewish students is simply an outlier that needs to be ignored.

At a time when threats against Jewish Americans are reaching an all-time high, you would think the President of the United States could unify the country by seizing the moment and forcefully condemning antisemitism in all of its forms. However, the White House knows the polling data and is well aware that anything Biden says or does must be viewed through the lens of the Muslim population in Michigan and the woke college kids leaving Biden over Gaza. For all of the talk of racists on the right, Joe Biden is relying upon violent, racist people to get him reelected.

The American people have nobody to blame but themselves.

It’s called “democracy.”

It may be surprising to us, but there have been thinkers down through history who didn’t believe democracy is the optimal system of government. Here is a quotation from one of them:

“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths. Theoretic politicians who have patronized this species of government, have erroneously supposed that by reducing mankind to a perfect equality in their political rights, they would at the same time be perfectly equalized and assimilated in their possessions, their opinions, and their passions.”

This same writer also penned this:

“Democracy is the [vilest] form of government.”

Most Americans would think such heretical words had to have been written by Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin or Attila the Hun, or some such tyrannical megalomaniac. Nancy Pelosi and all the leftists on OPP would probably say Donald Trump wrote them. But actually, the author of those sentiments was James Madison, the man given most of the credit for writing our Constitution. Yes, THAT James Madison.

Now go back and read again, more carefully, what he wrote.

As strange as it may sound for an American in the 21st century to be saying this, there are actually some sound arguments against democracy. I can support Madison’s thesis in many ways. Look at the list I started with. Add Kamala Harris. Barak Obama. Bill Clinton. And Hillary. Two George Bushes. Jimmy Carter. Not to mention Adam Schiff, Lindsey Graham, California, the whole Democratic Party, all leftists on OPP and you can add your own. I think this is (partially) what Mr. Madison had in mind. Occasionally, democracy does give us a Reagan or Trump, but that is the exception not the rule. Maybe once a generation.

By the way, just as an aside, Madison also said, “Disarm the people—that is the best and most effective way to enslave them.” Adolf Hitler DID agree with that. As did Joseph Stalin. And Mao Zedong. Joe Biden. Hopefully, Republicans won’t let that happen, but don’t take it to the bank.

Actually, in American history—and this is extremely important—democracy has been a gradual development. Women suffrage was put in the Constitution in 1920, though many could vote before that date. Many minorities were denied the vote until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. 18-year-olds in 1971. Those are huge segments of the American population, well over 50%. In one significant sense, we could say the United States “democracy” is barely 100 years old.

An anecdote. Author Mark Lewis is (was) an historian by trade and he spent about 25 years teaching history to college students, mostly 18-year-old freshmen, mostly Americans. One semester, he decided he would begin by giving the students a “pre-semester (non-credit) exam” on American history and culture. One of the multiple-choice questions was, “What is Jennifer Lopez known for?” Another of the questions was, “According to our Founding Fathers, what is the purpose of government?” Of the 30 or so students in that class, every single student knew that Jennifer Lopez is famous for her big butt. Not one student knew the purpose of government according to our Founding Fathers (to protect property). That class was in California (c. 2005). He tried.

These are the people we let choose our leaders now. And for the next generation. It’s probably already hopeless, folks.

While the above is anecdotal, it probably isn’t uncommon in America. And it explains exactly why so many mediocre, incompetent people have been elected to office. Give Evil and Mediocrity the vote and don’t be surprised if Evil and Mediocrity are elected. Madison would surely agree with that sentiment.

“In the U.S., [just over a century] of full-blown democracy has resulted in steadily increasing moral degeneration, family and social disintegration, and cultural decay in the form of continually rising rates of divorce, illegitimacy, abortion, and crime.” (Hans-Hermann Hoppe, “Democracy: The God That Failed”). Madison would no doubt have expected that, too.

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide,” John Adams, our second President. Note his belief that democracies “murder themselves” and “commit suicide.” Does that describe what America is doing today?

Our “democracy” is not 250 years old; it has barely reached 100. What will the next 100 years bring? Will there even be a next 100 years?

A democratic republic can only survive if the vast majority of people are moral, honorable, trustworthy, law-abiding, family-oriented, and patriotic. And the Uniparty in Congress is making sure that more and more Americans have less and less of those qualities. Because they don’t want democracy (they would lose), they want tyranny.

I wish Madison and Adams could come back to life and see America today. I know EXACTLY what they would say:

“We told you so.”

If our Founders didn’t establish a “democracy,” what DID they establish? Yes, a republic, but if the “people” are incompetent to rule, who should? We’ll save that for another time. And as always, the Founders’ true system is actually brilliant.

When stupidity and evil surpass wisdom and virtue among a people, democracy becomes the worst form of government possible.

Our failure to listen to history might cause our ultimate downfall.

Actually, what you write is not true, even though you hope it is true.

The public is taking such a swing to the right against Common Core and Arne Duncan's destruction of education, that home schooling is becoming the norm. Trump will totally shut down the US Dept. of Education and advocate for school choice and vouchers.

The government will not steal our children. Parents will take apprenticeships and trade schools any day over commie indoctrination of their children.

This CRAP of teaching children to "share" amongst everybody, including parasites who suck off the state, when most people are capable of pulling their own weight, has to end. We trade amongst each-other and only rightfully offer charity to cripples.
