They ran out of Vietnam, no offense, just a fact.

That's not really fair. It wasn't the soldiers who ran, it was the Nixon administration. Some background: In 1968, Nixon persuaded the South Vietnamese government not to participate in peace talks with the North Vietnamese, promising them they'd get a better deal if he was elected. He maintained he had a "secret plan" to end the conflict. Eventually, as the situation in Vietnam never got any better, he declared victory and got our troops, state department employees, CIA, and whoever else we had over there out as quickly as possible. I'm old enough to remember the images of helicopters overloaded with Americans leaving from the roof of the American embassy as the Vietcong moved in to Saigon. It was a war we should never have gotten involved in (we got in because the French were getting their butts kicked) and should have cut our losses and gotten out of much sooner.

The Democrats are losing their grip over the American people one day at a time. COVID-19 related infections and deaths continue to drop all over the country at astounding rates.

Two new reports, both of which have been peer-reviewed, have been published showing this dramatic decrease. And yet, with all the evidence of things returning to normal, the Democrats continue to push their lockdown measures so close to November 3.

They are quick to place blame on the president for things that seem to have gone wrong. They blame him for not acting soon enough. And yet he was the first in government to take action.

They try and blame him for not taking more robust measures to contain the virus. And yet he was the first to close the borders and recommend social distancing.

The Democrats will find just about anything to complain about as long as it serves their purpose. President Trump made the decisions that many others would have kept from making.

He made decisions that were not popular because it was the right thing to do. He does not care about popularity. He is more interested in doing what is best for the country because he was voted on to serve in that capacity.

The patients that have been treated in the NYU health system had a 25 percent chance of dying when the pandemic first started. But now it has dropped to just over 7 percent.

And the reasons why the percentage has come down has been cited to be the actions taken by the president at the first of the year.

The report shows that knowledge was an essential part, lower hospital admittance, new treatment options made available, early intervention, public education, and social distancing.

These are all the things, plus more than the president pushed hard to get people to do. While all along the path to beating the virus, the Democrats, fought the president and commented that he was doing a terrible job.

President Trump has also been promoting a vaccine that is almost ready. He has been open and honest with people. He gives hope to those that are fighting for their lives. He gives resources to the doctors and labs around the clock to eradicate COVID-19 once and for all.

The rate of death has fallen off in the past weeks by over 20 percent all around the nation. Even in other areas of the world where cases are still breaking out, the death rate is dropping. It is not proving to be the big killer the Democrats hoped it would be.

The virus is a serious issue, but the president has opened up the healthcare world to be able to fight it effectively. And now the fruit of his labor is being realized by all people around the country. Every single reason was given for the drop so far has been linked to the way the president has handled COVID-19.

The Democrats continue to say that the virus is still a threat. And that comment is not entirely wrong. Where they get the facts wrong is how to handle the virus. They push for lockdowns, which are now not recommended by the CDC or WHO.

President Trump is pushing to reopen the country, which draws criticism from the loony left. They know that once the country opens, their chances at a win in November are gone. President Trump will win on the basis that he was right all along regarding COVID-19 and how to handle the virus.

So much has changed with how the virus was first handled. The constant chance of rules pushed by the fearful Democrats has only muddied the waters. The president has been honest and open with truthful information all along the path to beating the virus. He is the only one that can be trusted to tell the truth.

The president has no motive to lie to the people. The Democrats have every reason to lie to everyone because they have to lie to cover up their previous lies.

The people voted on a man in 2016 that could not be controlled by the nasty liberals. President Trump has done a great job of living up to that expectation and making America great again.

Nobody hoped Covid would be a "big killer." I think the percentage of deaths have gone down for three reasons, none of which are credited to Trump and his "administration." First, because so many elderly people and those with preexisting conditions have already died, those getting infected are now healthier and more likely to survive infection. Second, the medical community has learned how to treat Covid infections more effectively, which saves lives. And third, the virus has evolved. Viruses don't want to kill their host, because then they die too. Most diseases become less fatal over time.

Let's assume you are right, then pray tell how did he and his staff become infected? You have a good point, but if no one could get near him to spread the virus on purpose, then no one could get near him to accidentally infect him. So, how the hell did he wind up with the virus?

Are you saying Hope Hicks didn't get near him? There are lots of photos and videos of the two of them close enough to touch. Annd she seems to have been infected before he was.

Thank you for your reply, I think yours is the most MEASURED reply here! After all that been attempted against President Trump in ways to negate him & oust him, plus our knowledge of what China has allowed with this virus...I almost think it is not REASONABLE to at least WONDER if there couldn't possibly be SOME CONNECTION??

I don't know if this will become a full-blown conspiracy theory or even if it should be in this highly politicized atmosphere, but I am sure there are some highly-placed people within Trump's admin who have entertained those exact thoughts! It JUST DOES seem almost TOO COINCIDENTAL, somehow the timing is just TOO CONVENIENT! October Surprise, who knows for sure?

What we DO KNOW is that there have been many many attempts to deny Trump a 2nd term & even to try to negate his present term. We DO KNOW that there are people within the DEMOCRAT PARTY who would stop at NOTHING to prevent Trump from winning in NOVEMBER! We DO KNOW there have been rumors of assignation attempts & we are all aware that it has happened to US Presidents in the past!

We also KNOW that there are high-placed Globalists around the world who DO NOT WANT TRUMP to win in November as he is quite probably the ONLY PERSON/THING/IDEAS that is standing between world dominance by Marxist/Communist leaders who are joined by even our own Democratic Party!

It really doesn't take much stretch of imagination to at least entertain the possibility of this being an attempt on Trump's life! I would like to think that we all HOPE IT ISN'T SO and PRAY That PRESIDENT TRUMP RECOVERS VERY QUICKLY!

If you like conspiracy theories, here's one for you: Trump never got infected. They hauled him off to Walter Reed to get him out of the public eye, and now he won't have to face another disastrous debate with Biden. Then, shortly before the election, he will reappear, miraculously cured because of some "wonder drug" from a company he and Jared have ownership in.

Based on what you have, or more importantly, what you don't have as probable cause, who would conduct an investigation?

Where could this assassination attempt have occurred? In the WH? On AF1? In the Limo? At a rally?

Everyone who comes in contact with the president is tested before they meet with him and they must maintain the recommended "social distance". In the WH, the testing is done daily.

Wouldn't the assassin have to have been infected with Covid? Where did the conspirators find a sacrificial lamb to take one for the team? How did the assassin get to the president without being tested?

The Secret Service's job is to keep the president from getting shot, not to keep him from inhaling air full of virus. As a "very stable genius," it was his job to avoid contamination.

Almost correct this time. Change it to WHO, CDC, NIH, Fauci and Birx with the weird COVID conspiracy theories. Is CV any more than the regular flu? No, in fact check the death charts Covid is behind almost everything so stop the hysterics and throw the masks and distancing away it really has one purpose and it'snot your health.

Except for the flu pandemic of 1918, has the flu ever caused over 200,000 American deaths in eight months?

I think you are confused. There is no such thing as "sealed" senate records, and why would anyone go to the University of Delaware to access them? They are available from the federal government. Here's a link to the site: www.archives.gov/research/guide-fed-records...

I got news for you. S.S. is set to not be able to hit its commitments in 2034. That date was 2033 under Obama but revised up because of more jobs under Trump. Because of COVID I look for that year, date to be revised back down. I’m for a payroll tax cut for one reason. So Americans will see just how much Uncle Sam takes from you. Exactly why it’ll never happen. Any one who can do simple math had to know that S.S down the road was unsustainable. Mainly because people live longer and the percentage of people putting in to those taking out has decreased dramatically. Have you looked at the big Democrat run cities? There’s your third world Roy. Ike,

It’s nice being able to have a civil exchange with you.
I can’t help recalling how obummer sent millions to Iran under the cover of darkness yet the media brushed that aside. Is it possible some of those millions are being used against our troops? Or how about the millions of dollars spent on warlords to bring peace only to find out it wasn’t being used for that, not a lot of coverage there.
Then there was millions of foreign aid given to Pakistan while they harbored Ossama bin laden. Of course obummer got lots of accolades for taking him out, but left the doctor that helped us take him out behind.
Not much negativity when it came to the biased media reporting about their little darling. Or when he invited blm to the White House soon after they marched down the street shouting, “ what do we want? Dead cops, when do we want it?now”.

The NY Times and Washington Post. You probably don't have any more faith in them than you do in CNN and MSNBC, but I think they try hard to get to the truth, and when they get something wrong, they own up to it.

That's a line of reasoning that I'm not following. Too many hypotheticals in there for me.

It isn't hypothetical that the Viet Cong and NVA were our enemy in Vietnam, and not hypothetical that the Taliban are our enemy in Afghanistan. The only part that could be hypothetical is that the Russians are funding the bounties collected by Taliban fighters (or maybe they go to the Taliban leaders?). And there is enough reporting from reliable sources that Russia is the source of the funding to make it more than hypothetical. It at least should be taken seriously by this administration and the classified evidence looked at with an open mind, but I don't see that happening. Trump's attitude seems to be that his "friend" Putin wouldn't do such an underhanded thing, and Putin has denied it. The KGB never lied about what they were doing, did they?

You obviously have never served or worn a uniform. Bounties on US troops has been going on for many years and wars. It’s called war, I was in Vietnam 50 plus years ago and there were bounties on our heads. A $100.00 for certain division patches and $500.00 for Berets.
This is nothing new, but you sheeple let the biased media and Trump hating politicians get you pumped up. It’s war, just ask KiLIARy, she was shot at disembarking a helicopter, remember?
War is hell, and most people know it when they signed up.

Okay, but those bounties were paid by governments that we were fighting against. They were the enemy. If Russia is behind these bounties, that makes them the enemy also, doesn't it? And Trump does not treat Russia like the enemy. Just the opposite.
