Apparently if you are Marine, active or not, you belong to some sort of
Ubermensch brotherhood, untouchable and above reproach. If you are a war hero, you are an Immortal on a pedestal. John McCain comes to mind.
But putting aside Robert Mueller's heroism in Vietnam, he has a shady record in his years as US Attorney and FBI director--the details of his past malfeasance stretch over the whole of his career in the DOJ. But we cannot under any circumstance consider that, it simply has no bearing on this issue. What is important, even critical, is to dig up all the dirt that can be found on President Trump, past or present. The shit dumped on him dates back 20 or 30 years. The shit Mueller dumped on American citizens extends back over 30 years.
Mueller's past record while serving in federal office is irrelevant, while Trump's entire life is on the chopping block.
Also irrelevant is the incestuous affair among the major players in launching the special counsel investigation. The principal ones are Comey, Rosenstein and Mueller, they are long time buds, worked together off and on in the DOJ.
Under director Comey, the FBI investigated the Hillary email scandal. Then Comey went public and exonerated her. (Irrelevant is the fact that Obama made the decision that Hillary be exonerated and so Comey drafted her exoneration months before the FBI interviewed her and the investigation was complete.) He assumed authority he did not have and acted as judge and jury. He redefined legal terms, gross negligence became no intent of wrongdoing.
With Hillary off the hook, she and the DNC colluded with Comey and his inner circle of political hacks. Through a couple of middle men, the Clinton campaign and the DNC commissioned the commercial research and strategic intelligence firm Fusion GPS and the law firm Perkins Coie to engage the services of a former foreign intelligence service agent to seek evidence of Trump malfeasance and sordid activities in Moscow. The Hillary campaign and the DNC paid this agent $130,000 for his work. Working with his Russian contacts, the agent produced what is now infamously known as the Steele Dossier.
With his signature on a FISA warrant application, Comey used the Steele dossier as the primary evidentiary instrument to obtain the warrant. Comey later admitted that the info in the dossier was "unverified". IOW, he submitted questionable evidence to the FISA court. This of course falls under the legal headings of "FISA abuse" and "lying to the court." The FISA warrant was renewed 3 times, Deputy AG Rosenstein signed the first renewal.
10 Key Takeaways From The Released FISA Warrants Against Carter PageAfter the FISA court issued the warrant to the FBI, Dpty AG Rosenstein sent a memo to President Trump recommending director Comey's dismissal. President Trump accepted the recommendation and fired him. Comey took a hit for the team. This was the setup.
Rosenstein, as acting AG, then appointed his old pal Mueller as special counsel. An AG, or acting AG, cannot appoint a Principal Officer to federal service. Mueller, as special counsel, was an inferior officer with limited authority, his original mandate was to conduct a counterintelligence investigation, not a criminal one. Rosenstein's duty in this was to supervise the special counsel investigation. This he did not do, rather he handed Mueller Carte Blanche and a blank check, then pretty much stayed in the background or washed his hands of the affair.
Mueller drew his team of investigators from a pool of liberal, pro-Hillary attorneys, his principal hit man was Weissman, a seriously hard core leftist who hated Trump with a passion. And, almost immediately the investigation morphed into a criminal one. Mueller's team went after any and everyone who had ever had any dealings with Donald Trump, even indicting Russian entities.
Other members in this incestuous affair were Dpty FBI director Andrew McCabe, Peter Strozk and Lisa Page, Bruce and Nellie Ohr (dear old Nellie worked for Fusion GPS).
Books have been written and are already on the shelves detailing the greatest political scandal in American history.
So, yeah, Semper Fi, do or die, kill, kill kill.
