Ancient Hebrew to Ancient Greek then to German by Martin Luther, then Latin and then english. I would say that nothing has been lost or omitted or added. All translations are God inspired, maybe not gramericly correct but language scholars work at understanding ancient records of German and Latin as well as the ancient. Hebrew and the dead seal scrolls in Greek . The fact that Jehovah and Jesus are likely not what either were called and this comes from the Ancient Greek translation of Hebrew. Both beautiful names and I dont believe either offend our Lord and God.

Possibly the greatest threat to a nation is the insidious collusion between a corrupted government and corporate media holding title to same. Couple that with a nation of gullible/frightened citizens and you have a disaster in the making.

The U.S. homeland security chief said on Sunday he takes seriously a threat made by Somali-based Islamist militants against shopping malls, including the Mall of America in Minnesota, and urged people going there to be careful.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson was reacting to a video released by al-Shabaab appearing to call for attacks on Western shopping areas, specifically mentioning Mall of America, the West Edmonton Mall in Canada and London's Oxford Street.

"This latest statement from al-Shabaab reflects the new phase we've evolved to in the global terrorist threat, in that you have groups such as al-Shabaab and ISIL publicly calling for independent actors in their homelands to carry out attacks," Johnson told CNN, using an acronym for the militant group Islamic State.

"We're beyond the phase now where these groups would send foreign operatives into countries after being trained some place," Johnson said.

There is precedent for an attack on malls by the group. The al-Qaida-linked terror group talks in the video about its September 2013 attack on a mall in Kenya. The brazen siege, which went on for days, left more than 60 people dead at an upscale mall in Nairobi.

Asked specifically about the threat to Mall of America, one of the world's largest shopping complexes, Johnson said: "Anytime a terrorist organization calls for an attack on a specific place, we've got to take that seriously."

"I would say that if anyone is planning to go to the Mall of America today, they've got to be particularly careful."

Hours later, Homeland Security Department spokeswoman Marsha Catron said the department and the FBI had shared information about the video with local law enforcement and "private sector partners."

"As a general matter, however, we are not aware of any specific, credible plot against the Mall of America or any other domestic commercial shopping center," she said in a statement.

One U.S. intelligence official said security officials are indeed worried about the risk of an attack on U.S. soil by a solitary militant, but al Shabaab as a group has not appeared to gain much traction with most Somalis in the West, including in Minneapolis.

"In balance, I don't think this video adds much on top of the ubiquitous 'lone offender' threat," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Staff Sgt. Brent Meyer of Canada's Royal Canadian Mounted Police said "there is no evidence at this time of any specific or imminent threat to Canadians." In Britain, a spokesman said London police were aware of the video and were assessing it.

Mall of America and West Edmonton Mall issued statements saying they were implementing extra security measures.

Minnesota is home to a sizeable Somali-American population. U.S. law-enforcement officials have been concerned about the potential for radicalization among some of the community.

The Mall of America has more than 500 stores and attracts 40 million visitors a year, about two-fifths of them tourists, according to its website. It’s owned by Triple Five Group, an Edmonton, Alberta-based development company.

Johnson’s interview occurred as funding for the Department of Homeland Security is set to lapse Feb. 27. Such a lapse would trigger a shutdown of non-essential agency operations unless Congress enacts new funds.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner want to use a spending bill to force President Barack Obama to reverse his orders shielding undocumented immigrants from being deported.

On Monday, McConnell will try for a fourth time to advance a House-passed Homeland Security spending bill, H.R. 240, that would require Obama to abandon the immigration action he announced in November.

Democrats have blocked the measure three times. They say Congress should fund Homeland Security, which is responsible for immigration and border enforcement, without setting new limits on immigration policy. Democrats have said they are holding firm in defense of the president’s policies.

The National Security Council told CNN it's working with various agencies, including the FBI and local law enforcement, to ensure maximum security.

"Protecting public safety and national security is our highest priority," Ned Price, a spokesman for the National Security Council, told CNN.

The Somalia-based militants have heavily recruited in Minneapolis, which is home to the largest Somali population in the United States. Many young men have slipped away to join the group in Somalia.

Although al-Shabaab has also targeted youth in Canada, Finland, and the UK for recruitment, its past attacks have been limited to East Africa. In addition to Kenya and Somalia, it has also struck in Uganda, where it killed more than 70 people gathered to watch a World Cup soccer match in Kampala five years ago. Kenya and Uganda have sent their forces to neighboring Somalia to battle the extremists, CNN reported.

As the attacks get more daring, the international community has rallied to fight the militants.

Last year, the United States launched an airstrike in Somalia that killed the al-Shabaab leader. The terror group later replaced him and vowed to avenge his death.

Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona said in an interview on CBS’s "Face the Nation" Sunday that he didn’t support efforts to shut the government down and that the federal court system is the "best way" to resolve the impasse.

"But have no doubt I am angry, as are my constituents in a border state, that the president of the United States would unconstitutionally issue the executive orders he did," McCain said.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican, urged Republicans to fund the department and fight Obama’s actions in court.

"The worst possible option is to defund the Department of Homeland Security," Graham said. "And I will not be part of that."

We have several issues a I see it;
1-We have allowed Islamic Samalians and others to come into this country under the guise that they are refugees and with the freedom we have in America they have become more radical everyday.
2-We have an incompetent homeland security that can not listen to warning, not even from then peaceful Russia when it came to Tamerlan and his brother who bombed the Boston marathon.
3-We are suffering as a nation devided over BS politics ,our media coverage of that and two childish parties willing to destroy our unity over the typical talking points that fuel anger;jobs, guns, children, elderly , taxes, food , minority's , immigrants and women's rights. None of which mean much unless it comes to votes.
4-We have a president who is not patriotic and does not love it even like our country.
5-I'm starting to hate Muslims more and more, not just because they murder everyday, not just because they are living in the sixth century still, not just because they actually hate women. I am learning to hate them because they are all clueless and they talk out against the murderous radicals.
6-We are allowing these Muslims to set up shop in our universities and all the while we are squishing other religions to death.
I could go on and on, sorry for the rant

The President’s Paltry Patriotism

Few qualities are as important in a US President as a love of country.

Seldom in American history, tumultuous as its pages may be, has the patriotism of a President been questioned. The Obama years, marked by a vigorous and consistent dispute about this very matter, stand in stark contrast.

The latest incarnation of this doubt came courtesy of former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani on Thursday night.

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

The remarks prompted strong reaction from predictable quarters, with the mainstream media, Twitter and their progressive heroes seemingly taking turns to audition for apoplexy.

Cowed by political correctness, even many conservative talking heads tap-danced, querying the use of Giuliani’s language and suggesting it to be unhelpful to the Republican cause. Following the liberal playbook, few asked themselves if the statement was true, preferring to consider hurt feelings.

But injury aside, is Giuliani right?

The evidence is powerful, and it falls on Giuliani’s side.

Culturally and rhetorically, President Obama bears little similarity to any of his Democratic predecessors, including the most recent, Bill Clinton. Who could imagine President Obama referring to America as “the indispensable nation”, or proclaiming that “nothing that is wrong with America cannot be cured by what is right about America” as the latter did at his 1993 inauguration?

While Democratic, President Clinton preserved a robust American identity, with an unapologetic belief in American exceptionalism and a heartland love of “Americana”. Even in criticism, he managed to praise.

There has been little in the current President’s actions or words in the last six years to suggest a comparable affection. From an international apology tour to equivalence on exceptionalism to anodyne words to describe evil, the President has perpetually scratched the proud American psyche.

Is this a matter of ideology, upbringing or personality? Giuliani suggests it to be a combination of all three, a theory corroborated by what we know of President Obama’s life.

Unlike the rural South with its uniform patriotism where Clinton was raised, President Obama’s life presented him with opportunities to meet several activists, with subversive attitudes and anti-American sentiments. The academia and community leaders Obama consorted with were likely very different to the good ol’ boys of Clinton’s youth.

But with youth long in the past, it is President Obama’s current preparedness to slander the reputation of Christians and America while protecting the reputation of Islam, as well as his increasing openness in the last few months that is now raising eyebrows.

Many Americans are unsettled by a President more animated by largely imaginary racial and religious discrimination than the genuine evil of Islamic terror. The belief espoused by the Administration that climate change and US overreach are the two greatest threats to American national security is rejected viscerally by the majority of American. The First Lady’s revelation in February 2008 that "for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country” is the antithesis of the traditional American experience.

These are not priorities or positions shared by the heartland, or “Bubbaville” (thanks, Mike Huckabee).

Few would dispute the compatibility of anti-Americanism with liberal ideology. America, after all, is the greatest impediment to leftist success, and represents the last great holdout to the secular-progressive agenda.

It is not impossible for liberals to love America, but if they do, they are far more likely to love it for what it can become, rather than what it is.

Above: Somali “refugees” on lifetime welfare demand their free food adhere to Islamic Law

by Jason DeWitt

Whoever said “beggars can’t be choosers” never met Somali Muslim refugees in Minnesota. These Muslim imports in Minneapolis are now demanding a tax-funded “halal” non-pork food shelf at a free food pantry for the poor.

As if it’s not bad enough that nearly all the “American” Muslims who have joined ISIS have been Somalis from Minneapolis , their relatives here are demanding that Americans adhere to the same Sharia Laws the Islamic State fighters are trying to impose throughout the Middle East.

A group of first-generation Somali Americans says they need help in developing a food shelf that specializes in healthy foods that do not contain pork or pork byproducts. “It’s about human rights also, basic human rights to get the proper food and also healthy food,” said Imam Hassan Mohamud.

“Human rights”? Seriously? Their arrogance and self-entitlement has to be unprecedented for a group on the public dole. Tens of thousands of Somalis settled in Minneapolis/St. Paul after Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and later Barack Obama imported them and funded massive “refugee” centers there. Welfare, schools, hospitals and social services have been crushed by the burden of immigrants who lack the most basic skills to live in a modern society.

This is hardly the first demands Somalis have made on the good people of Minneapolis. When the influx of Somali thugs naturally resulted in a massive increase in crime a decade ago, Somalis demanded a $48 million Sharia-compliant “youth center” to keep Somali gangs “out of trouble”.

We have read for several years now how Muslim cab drivers in Minneapolis and several airports have kicked out blind passengers with guide dogs (dogs are “unclean” in Islam), or customers transporting alcohol . They came here, taking advantage of American generosity, and returned it by enforcing their own brand of Sharia Law upon us.

Liberals in Minnesota have bent over backwards for them, setting up foot-washing basins in their airport and even at a university , in response to their demands. But as with most appeasement, these refugees keep making more demands. Now it is for “halal” products (meat slaughtered with Islamic prayers and a ban on pork).

The Imam leading this protest actually claimed that there were beans with pork in it and this was a “literacy” issue that required more government funding andspecial halal-compliant beans. But one commenter on the article from Minneapolis wrote:

As someone who made use of the foodshelf recently, I can tell you that most of the food doesn’t contain pork. I hear what they are saying about a literacy issue, but can’t the food shelf people just point out the cans of pork and beans? Besides, the food shelf is based on donations!

This is not about Muslims “making do” or getting help on what to eat. The Koran demands that Muslim make any country they live in adapt to them and Sharia Law. The last thing they plan to do is assimilate.

One blogger added:

How long until they demand separate entrances to the food pantry for men and women and separate entrances for Muslims who don’t want to see any Christmas or holiday food or decorations?

The state of Maine has also been crushed by Somalis that Obama has forced upon them. The Governor of Maine, Paul LePage has valiantly been trying to cut off cash aid to Somalis – nearly all of whom are on welfare – since Obama has purposely dumped thousands of them in Lewiston and Portland.

America got Black Hawk Down and 18 dead Americans. Somalis got 90,000+ “asylum” slots in America, free housing, Sharia-compliant facilities, and a lifetime of welfare. How do you

say “chumps” in Somali?

Each refugee already has access to the following:

Temporary assistance for Needy Families

Medicaid
Food Stamps

Supplemental "Security" Income
Social Security Disability Insurance

Administrative Developmental Disabilities (ADD)

Child Care and Development Fund

Independent Living Program
Low Income Housing Energy Assistance

Postsecondary Education Grants

Refugee Assistance Program

Title IV Foster Care

Title XX Social Services Block Grant Fund

And from our lovely State Department...$2200 per month for every man, woman and child.
This is only the beginning. This is contagious and... (show quote)

Just as we have done with Christianity here in America we must now do also with Islam, abolish all recognition of their cult and send them packing if they don't quit this BS.

Nope, never once related it literally to flesh or blood. As far as Lot and his ills, I can not speak of why he offers his daughters, homophobic? Coward? BTW, I guess I received a totally different image of why we remember the way our lord and savior died and the symbolic breaking of the bread was to remind us of the nourishment spiritually , not as protein!

One further thought. The Catholic Church requires one to believe the bread and water "transubstante", actually, physically, miraculously during every observance of Communion turn into the real body and blood of Jesus. To then eat and drink, faithfully believing, is cannabalism.

This is what the scripture reads;

New International Version
and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."

New Living Translation
and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me."

English Standard Version
and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

This is only a few different translations but no where does it say pretend your eating flesh, it say remember my body that was broken for you with this bread. Symbolic. I have taken communion for many years and never once did I think about bread as flesh. I am not catholic and though I beleive in the catholic" universal" church I don't agree with catholisism as a religion the gets it correct. Nor am I knocking them for being overly ritualistic in many ways for me. I beleive in the saints but I do not pray to man I saint either.
I would agree with you that their are archaic issues with religion but I do beleive in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
