If you can get arrested for

stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more
than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new
leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by

If a seven-year-old boy can be

sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly
acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but

If hard work and success are met
with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not
working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits,
subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage
faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your
neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen
TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults
on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by
geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your

to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by
geniuses but is run by idiots.

If all the people who work for a living get out and vote we might stand a chance to turn the United States of America around. That is, of course, there are more people working that are on the dole.

Address the question: what effect does labor force participation rate have on the true unemployment rate?

It seems any opposite view is deemed racist and you move right to that attack mode.

Treasury Department numbers out Wednesday show that the federal government collected a record amount of taxes in 2014, reaching $3 trillion in revenues for the first time in history.

The largest share of the tax revenue collected comes from the nearly $1.4 trillion collected in individual income taxes followed by around $320 billion collected in corporate taxes.

Federal officials say that the increased tax revenues are the result of economic improvement in the United States raising business and personal incomes.

“The president’s policies and a strengthening U.S. economy have resulted in a reduction of the U.S. budget deficit of approximately two-thirds — the fastest sustained deficit reduction since World War II,” Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said.

Of course, Lew’s victory lap ought to be cut short by the fact that despite record amounts of money coming in, fiscal 2014 ended last month with the government running a $483 billion deficit. While the deficit is at a six-year low, it’s still highly unsustainable from an economic standpoint.

Don, in California there was a former governor who signed the bill outlawing neanderthals, from open carrying their artificial manhood extenders into restaurants and stores.

Do you know what his name was? Ronald Reagan.

Because of Reagan, you can peacefully eat at the diner, and not worry that some arrested adolescent, camouflaged, would-be Rambo will spoil your burger and coke.

Don't choke on your lunch........................

Brian

I do not agree with open carry. It makes you the first target.

I prefer concealed carry in a diner or restaurant..

I do not want to upset other patrons. I also love a surprise.

The surprised look on a fool looking down the barrel of my .45 with the laser dot between his eyes.

I remember the murders in Luby, Texas when they had a foolish law forbidding firearms in restaurants. Texas has now changed that law.

Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%

Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%

Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28%

Dividends tax went from 15% to 39.6%

Estate tax went from 0% to 55%

Remember this fact:
These taxes were all passed only with democrat votes, no republicans voted for these taxes.

These taxes were all passed under the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

I think it is important that everyone in the U.S. should know this. Romney would have Repealed all this.

If voter ID is not such a big deal and insignificant, then why all the fuss about

In the REAL world you need ID for a lot of transactions: cashing a check, job applications, applying for a loan, using your credit card, etc.

Like the majority of American voters, I voted for President Obama twice. In spite of the usual saber rattling in the middle east, the President has (mostly) extricated the bulk of our troops from a "fools errand" into the quicksand for which the region is so famous.

He is certainly dramatically better than the violent war pimps, who occupied the White House before him.

Dr. Francis Collins, the head of the National Institutes of Health, said that a decade of stagnant spending has "slowed down" research on all items, including vaccinations for infectious diseases. As a result, he said, the international community has been left playing catch-up on a potentially avoidable humanitarian catastrophe.

"NIH has been working on Ebola vaccines since 2001. It's not like we suddenly woke up and thought, 'Oh my gosh, we should have something ready here,'" Collins told The Huffington Post on Friday. "Frankly, if we had not gone through our 10-year slide in research support, we probably would have had a vaccine in time for this that would've gone through clinical trials and would have been ready."

It's not just the production of a vaccine that has been hampered by money shortfalls. Collins also said that some therapeutics to fight Ebola "were on a slower track than would've been ideal, or that would have happened if we had been on a stable research support trajectory."

"We would have been a year or two ahead of where we are, which would have made all the difference," he said.

What I have been predicting is that Obama, as his "God-like status and protectors drift away, when there's no more Axelrods to prop up this false image, those who have the truth are going to start leaking it out. Those who know there's no record at Columbia that Obama attended, those who've seen the truth of foreign student applications, and all the rest of it that's going to come out. The years in Indonesia when Obama was Sunni Muslim.

This from me... All this stuff coming out will show the idiots that have upheld this POS exactly what they are. IDIOTS![/quote
