The wealth of the Jewish diaspora throughout the world supplied weapons to the Zionist invaders of Palestine, many of whom were Jewish military officers fresh from service in WWII.
Even before the UN partition was official Zionist terrorists started massacring entire Arab villages, either killing or driving out of Palestine over a million Arabs. This allowed Jews to gain the majority in population of Palestine by 1948.
