It's not Obummer care. Are you dense? or just stupid. It's the law, upheld by the Supreme Court.

Wacko

It's the what? 49 mandates out of 99 have not been put in place. Only Congress makes law and the president does not to get to pick and choose what parts of the law will be enforced.

Talk about a WACKO! Did you miss school?

Romney vetoed nine important sections of the MA healthcare bill, without which it would have failed, but was overriden by that state's legislature.

This a quote from a congressional hearing in 1993 by Heritages Stuart Butler

"This translates into a requirement on individuals to enroll themselves and their dependents in at least a basic health plan – one that at the minimum should protect the rest of society from large and unexpected medical costs incurred by the family. And as any social contract, there would also be an obligation on society. To the extent that the family cannot reasonably afford reasonable basic coverage, the rest of society, via government, should take responsibility for financing that minimum coverage."

The Heritage plan was in response to the Clinton plan (so called "Hillarycare")
While it is true that many Conservatives particularly Libertarian Conservatives
always opposed the individual mandate many got on board with the whole plan. Obama thought he was clever by co-opting this plan believing that would get enough GOP votes to pass it and he would get the credit, but the latter is just my speculation. Odd though when you see the above quote "VIA GOVERNMENT". How things have changed in the post Obama anti-government Conservative movement.

Here is a question. How did 2, ooo plus pages grow to 7 plus foot tall rules. Yes...A 2000 plus page grew to 7 plus tall rules.
These are facts on size confirmed by hearing in the middle if the night on c-span.
So the who and how are very good questions. We have doctors in congress i dont think they were involved.
The how.......is ,..I write a rule saying yes, in room 1.
You write a rule saying no, in room 2.
Doors open... the secretary's put pages together an there is ,one yes on page 3.
One no, on page 5.
The left hand does not know what the right hand did.
Our problem is the american citizen is trying to read page 4.
This bag of yak laws make no common sence. The unions, ups, universety of Virginia, on an on would not be taking spouse's off there coverage policys.
Confusion is the goverments way it seems. I receive no confedence when we see waver after waver being given to large lobby represented companies. I have no lobby representative, I have one house representive. Both arizona senators are rinos for this bill.
An your right this is now a LAW. It's also afact we have a lawful way to change an amend laws. That is what you are seeing now. This is to be the american way.

It took me 11 days to read, reread and reference the crap in this so-called bill. Most bills are full of this crap so the average person will get bored and stop reading but this effects my family directly. So may new taxes and not on the rich but middle America.

It boils down to unelected officials deciding whom get what care. Too lasy to read what mandates didn't make it but as soon as I find a complete list I'll try and make sense of it.

Even those writing the bill can't comprehend it. It is so confusing, convoluted and dichotomous.
