The simple, plain and basic truth is always the best. And, obtaining the release of Korean Vet's remains is worthy of the truth.

Throw us a little link or example of any of that. We're not going to take your word for it. Sorry. Please, give me 3 examples. Could never compete with Obama or Hillary, in the lie department. But I'm more than willing to listen to your examples. Unfortunately, you have none.

Sealioning
A subtle form of trolling involving "bad-faith" questions. You disingenuously frame your conversation as a sincere request to be enlightened, placing the burden of educating you entirely on the other party. If your bait is successful, the other party may engage, painstakingly laying out their logic and evidence in the false hope of helping someone learn. In fact you are attempting to harass or waste the time of the other party, and have no intention of truly entertaining their point of view. Instead, you react to each piece of information by misinterpreting it or requesting further clarification, ad nauseum. The name "sea-lioning" comes from a Wondermark comic strip.
I spent five minutes asking polite questions, sealioning him into hours of writing until he got exasperated and told me to fuck off.

As I've stated on several occasions dating back to his campaign: He is a huckster and a self-aggrandizing charlatan. IMO, Trump's patriotism is as thin as onion skin. In his mind...it is always about him.

For example, aiding in obtaining the release of the remains of Korean War Vets is admirable. But, taking it to hyperbolic extremes by claiming to having responded to speaking with "thousands" of those Vet's parents seeking their release is embarrassingly sad. If you read the articles, you would realize the average age of any living Korean War Vet's parents would be between 105 to 120 years of age.

He is, quite simply, a naturally gifted politician.
As I've stated on several occasions dating back to... (show quote)

You are off on Korean vets ages. I served from 1952 (age 20) to 1956. I am 86 tomorrow.

Snoopy, you misunderstand. The links/articles in the opening post spoke to the ages of your parent's generation.

As my Dad, Uncle and a couple of friends are Korean Vets, I am well aware of the range in their ages.

You don't have to take my word for it, FSZ, as both links/articles contained in the first post of this thread offer examples of his lying. In your own words...

"Let's face it. He has a tendency to stretch the truth a little bit once in awhile, but to have a series of outright lies, I don't buy it." [quote/FSZ]

Your not buying into his documented habitual/serial lying doesn't make it less so. A simple research by you would verify that.

Otherwise, simply read Singularity's above post.

Here is the exact quote from Stars and Stripes: Trump said he received “countless calls and letters” from family members asking for help obtaining remains. He brought up the issue with Kim at the "very last minute," he said.

“Even during the campaign, they’d say, ‘Is there any way you can work with North Korea to get the remains of my son back or my father back?’ So many people asked me this question,” Trump said. “And, you know, I said, ‘Look, we don’t get along too well with that particular group of people.’ But now we do. And he agreed to that so quickly and so nice – it was really a very nice thing.”

He misspoke, he may have intended to say grandfather, but he said son. Ergo, that makes him a liar in some people's minds. Never mind that he succeeded in gaining the cooperation of NK in exuming those bodies and returning the remains.... the focus is the use of the word "son."

P-Lynn, those were exact quotes offered up (by FOX) in the links contained in the opening post of this thread. However, as President Trump contradicts himself repeatedly, it is not unusual for his words to change according to the audience or opportunity presented...just as all elected officials are prone to do.

Many, if not most politicians are self-aggrandizing charlatans, but Trump is exceptionally gifted that way.

You didn't learn much in those 3 years. You must have hid in the jungle stoned for the 3 years you were in the marines. I was in the Navy for 4 years and I got a good education from it. I can function in todays world and actually see what is going on around me. You must still be stoned from some of the posts that you put on OPP.

Donald Trump should, for the rest of his life, kiss Comey' s butt for having thrown the election to him by his misdeeds and mishandling. Donald Trump was praising Comey after the election for helping him, only to later fire Comey because he didn't want to lay off the Russian investigation. Donald Trump misread Comey' s actions. Having realized that Comey's actions helped him, he thought he had Comey in his pocket. Comey had no idea that his actions would end up damaging Hillary 's campaign and helping Trump.
