I encounter folks all the times claiming Trump to be a racist. I always ask them to give examples of something he said or did that shows his racism but the conversation always ends there.

Help me out here. What has he said or done that highlights or demonstrates his racism???

He once called a judge Mexican. The judge happens to be of Mexican decent. I guess that’s all it takes.

Although Mexican isn't a race, I think he was referring to the judge being Hispanic and might be biased in a ruling. I guess that's about the closest thing I've heard thus far, but I personally don't think that's actually racist.

You'd think as prevalent as the notion of him being racist is, there'd be tons of examples.

I heard he was La Raza.

Don't know if it's true but if so the judge is an activist.

Central Park Five member Yusef Salaam recalls Trump: ‘He has not changed’. Video by Laurence Mathieu-Léger

usef Salaam was 15 years old when Donald Trump demanded his execution for a crime he did not commit.
Nearly three decades before the rambunctious billionaire began his run for president – before he called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States, for the expulsion of all undocumented migrants, before he branded Mexicans as “rapists” and was accused of mocking the disabled – Trump called for the reinstatement of the death penalty in New York following a horrific rape case in which five teenagers were wrongly convicted.
The miscarriage of justice is widely remembered as a definitive moment in New York’s fractured race relations. But Trump’s intervention – he signed full-page newspaper advertisements implicitly calling for the boys to die – has been gradually overlooked as the businessman’s chances of winning the Republican nomination have rapidly increased. Now those involved in the case of the so-called Central Park Five and its aftermath say Trump’s rhetoric served as an unlikely precursor to a unique brand of divisive populism that has powered his rise to political prominence in 2016.

“He was the fire starter,” Salaam said of Trump, in his first extended interview since Trump announced his run for the White House. “Common citizens were being manipulated and swayed into believing that we were guilty.”

The guardian LOL. You are such an indoctrinated fool. Of course you can trust the word of someone named Yusef Salaam. Granted Trump talks stupidly often times and should be called on it. I never for one second thought that Trump believes all Mexicans are rapists. I knew what he meant. It's called context. Should Muslims be vetted. Damn right. Should all immigrants? Damn right. Merit based isn't racist. It's common sense. You wouldn't understand. Troll.

Not that I buy the argument but suppose Trump has had an epiphany?

Prison reform? I've been there twice and jail more times than I can remember, never had a bail I could afford and according to folks like you and am a beneficiary of "white privilege".

Prison reform is a BIG deal to me and if you are who you say you are it should be to you too.

What say you?

So where is the racism. I can see he wan't meaning all Mexicans are racist and besides, Mexican is not a race just as Muslim isn't. Perhaps he see's patterns of behavior in certain communities associated with other countries. Like terrorism and certain Muslim countries which Obama cited during his term.

So, where is Trump being racist????

The Guardian, The Onion, Mother Jones, etc... Every word out of those rags take the President's words out of context. No surprises there. If that weren't enough, add in the entire press corps. He gets blindsided by the liberal press 24/7 and comes out on top every time.
I think right now effort might be spent in putting Rudy Gulliani in a play room with a lot of bldg. blocks to keep him busy.....
Good post JF

Prison reform? He had a powwow. Did you hear anything and what do you think?

This could save many billions and change the way "justice" has been served.

Thanks. His popularity is in the high 40’s. Amazing when you see the negative unfair coverage. Only the dems could turn a for sure blue wave into a ripple.

It does not matter where the facts come from, he took out a full page ad in the NY paper condemning the innocent because of their race.

The Central Park Five movie synopsis

In 1989, five black and Latino teenagers were arrested and charged for brutally attacking and raping a white female jogger in Central Park. News media swarmed the case, calling it "the crime of the century." But the truth about what really happened didn't become clear until after the five had spent years in prison for a crime they didn't commit. With THE CENTRAL PARK FIVE, this story of injustice finally gets the telling it deserves. Based on Sarah Burns' best-selling book and co-directed by her husband David McMahon and father, the beloved doc filmmaker …

From the article, "Muggers and murderers,” he wrote, “should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes.” Though he didn’t refer to the teenagers by name, it was clear to anyone in the city that he was referring to them."

He obviously didn't believe they were innocent, but so what. What's racist about "muggers and murderers?" Unless some particular race knows they, themselves, are the muggers and murderers. Lol. That's racism directed upon their own race.

Where oh where are Trump's racist comments or actions????
