Happy Holiday weekend to everyone on OPP. Please remember our fallen and active soldiers this weekend and all that they've given up for our beautiful, free country.
God Bless you all!

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my children and my wife
I thank my lucky stars
To be living here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota
To the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas
From sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston
And New York to L.A.
Where's pride in every American heart
And it's time we stand and say
That I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today

Much love, gratitude, respect and enormous pride for each and every person that has and is serving and especially for those that gave their All! I want to also say how much I appreciate the loved ones that support their loved one and have to take up the slack when necessary! I pray that our Lord and Savior wraps his loving arms around each one and keeps him/ her safe and brings them home.

You have a great holiday as well as we remember the real reason of this one!!
Enjoy your kids and grandchildren, my friend..

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. ... Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.....

I have worn out several tapes of that song. Every morning on my eastern porch enjoying the sweet smell of tall loblolly pines, a hot cup of coffee, cigar and my faithful cat waiting for God's beautiful sunrise and it's glory. I am truly blessed.

God bless America and President Trump and his beautiful first Lady

Several years ago when we were at Fort Morgan which is west of Gulf Shores, Al. It was early spring before the tourists come. My husband and I were walking on the beach very early and we were completely alone! It very common to see the navy doing maneuvers and doing their thing! A lone jet came right over us quite low and I waved at him! He disappeared and then he came back over us. This time I blew him 😘 kisses! Same thing , he disappeared and came back! This time I did a dance for him and waved very enthusiastically! The last time he came over us he go even lower and tipped his wing so that I could see him! Then he did the wave thing for us! I absolutely cried ....... I couldn’t have been more proud or honored if I had of been his Grandmother!
