And why do you need a code of good conduct? Do you honestly need a god to tell you to do unto others as you would have them do unto you? If you do then you aren't a very moral person are you--so how will a code of conduct change that?

Funny hearing a liberal talk about a code of conduct ---- as tho. You liberals though they had one. You godless liberals are the living proof that a God is necessary to inspire men to act decently. Without Him, you get harsh, unproductive, totalitarian ideologies like communism. And the people being self absorbed and attracted to such a ideologies that is all negative about everything good and decent turning people into angry malcontents. Just look at the character of the people on the left and it's obvious the further you get away from God, the more dissatisfaction, criminality, suicides and lack of purpose in one's life. No reason for morals, only for self fulfillment which brings rampant unrestrained sexuality, which in turn brings fatherless children, which brings more criminality.
