Gods Word is the only absolute, against which to measure the information. All this stuff that is happening are just events on a trajectory God has mapped out. Did so and so lie? Yes, of course, they all lie. Will the bad guys win? Yes, for a time...but in the end they will see it has always been a battle lost. God already won. I agree with that. I am tired of trying to accommodate to them. They have to accommodate to us. There is no dealing with evil. The Democratic Party is now the ultimate of what was laid out by FDR; completely socialist.

Republicans were never conservatives.....

demonrats are like the schoolyard bully, they beat you up and take your lunch money. Republitards are like the schoolyard enforcers, they take your lunch money to protect you from the demonrats.

If you keep voting for the same parties nothing will ever change.

Make a change vote:

Why I Am No Longer A Conservative Republican

How did we arrive at the current situation?  James Madison in his speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 16, 1788 said, “There are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by the gradual and silent encroachment of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpation.”  We didn’t get here all in one jump.  First the camel said, “Can I just stick my nose in your tent to stay warm?” and finally the generous man found himself out in the cold as the camel settled down for a nice warm nap, one inch at a time.

Lately it seems like the only remaining difference between Liberals and the
Conservatives is that the Conservative female politicians are still the best lookin.
b Why I Am No Longer A Conservative Republican /b... (show quote)

Your statement - If we want a different world we have to start at the only place we have the absolute sovereign ability to make a change, we must start with ourselves. - is exactly SPOT ON. However, it is a pipe dream. You know it, I know it, the looney lefty liberals know it, and so does everybody else - which includes all the members of The Senate and The House who are all beholding to or members of the Deep State/Swamp (whose primary members arguably are the Democrat Party and the Media which a list of them would be too long). Having said all that, there is a door open - actually a small crack - to "start with ourselves" with the grassroots effort to call for a Constitutional Convention which as of January 2016 needed only 7 more states to convene. I have no faith in that ever happening and if it did, the liberals with their ability to form a rock solid, loud, and immovable force will prevail in their usual manner.
I’ve voted with the GOP in every local and national election since I was first eligible in the 1968 presidential election. The most noteworthy characteristic of Republican Party is that there are a number of divergent factions that are acknowledged and respected in the conservative landscape. It can also be a detriment as proven by the conflicts and the voting record on controversial legislative issues by the GOPers since taking the majority in both chambers. Garnering "one voice" for the Republican Party is akin to herding cats. The opposition has learned how to herd cats superbly as all of them speak with the same monotone talking points right down to the period, comma, and question mark. While Republicans compromise within their own ranks as well as with the opposition, Democrats never heard of the word. While Republicans (for the most part) respect opinions/ideas of others, Democrats come out of the womb declaring never to show any respect for a Republican and always declaring them guilty of being a white supremacist, a misogynist and a racist; and they are willing to shout their declarations from the roof tops. Lastly, while both sides never answer a question directly, always rephrasing the question to suite their individual needs, the Democrats use this tactic splendidly to get the last word in on a subject – the words everyone remembers. Overall, for most voters the Democrat Party appears to be more polished and organized which gets the immediate and positive attention of voters, while Republicans are always on the defensive and must “climb up a steep hill” to get the attention of voters.
People like us do not need to be convinced to “start with ourselves”. We already have the self-respect to be willing to respect others which leads to compromise and consensus. “Ourselves” as well Republican officials must become more dogged in our approach instead of letting the opposition always name the playing field and the rules of engagement. The opposition sees no need to respect others and their version of “start with ourselves” is the selfish “get what we can for ourselves” mentality.
In summary, it’s unfortunate that the good old days when politicians forgot partisanship and amiably reached across the aisle as a patriot to find the middle ground – on both sides - will never return. That's because the current brand of political leadership doesn’t have the necessary courage it takes to set aside self-interests interests for national concerns and needs. An argument can be made that a cure for that appears to be term limits, but pigs will fly before that ever passes into law.

Oh, I so agree with you! The DACA issue is a prime example. Though the democrats in Congress were offered a great compromise, they refused because they wanted their ammesty for the DACA illegals without having to give ANY immigration reforms in exchange. They are determined to coerce the American people into this insanity. So, my position now is, NO AMMESTY FOR ANYONE EVER, no matter what. I want ALL the DACA/dreamer illegals, as well as ALL foreign illegals in our country GONE. Now, my compassion is reserved for my fellow citizens and my country's future. I no longer have any compassion for these third world nations and their poorest citizens who are abusing my country for their own benefit. They care not one bit about their negative impact on the USA and will keep right on moving here in droves until America simply fails, collapses from over-population, depleted resources and everything else, an insane debt coming due, but, really failing due to its own unscrupulous traitorous government. I am beyond tired of my country giving these millions and millions of illegal aliens free entry into the USA and granting them all the rights and benefits of citizens, rights they are neither entitled to nor deserve. And I greatly resent my own government forcing we American taxpayers to spend billions of dollars annually caring for these illegals while they send billions of our dollars out of our country every year.

I agree with everything you have said here.
No More People of any race. No place in the world needs more people. Stop all immigration and tell the UN to hell with anymore refugees especially Muslim Refugees and get out of the UN and have them move their club out of this country.
