Since several sporting goods retailers, liberals, and democrats, seem to think that anyone under the age of 21 isn't responsible enough to buy or safely use a firearm, I think we should raise the voting age from 18 to 21 also. Obviously they aren't responsible enough to vote for the people who will be making the laws governing the sale, use, and types of firearms they can buy. Also, since the first thing they will be trained on when they join the military will be firearms, they shouldn't be allowed to join the military until they are 21. After all, we can't have 18-21 year olds in the military with weapons, especially military weapons such as fully automatic weapons if they aren't allowed to have the semi-auto version of them in civilian life because they aren't responsible enough.

I would be happy if they raised the voter age to 40.

Oh the only reason you want to raise the voting age is because suddenly you realized all those teenagers are going to vote and in doing so there goes your protection for your semi automatic weapon.

I have an alternate proposal. Since the voting age was lowered to match the draft age, raise it to 21 except for active duty military.

They won't vote...WHAT, we can't register or vote from our cell phones? It will be too much of an inconvenience to experience the horror of having to stand in line to do something that is so BORING!

Hey, I'm not the one running around in a panic. You're the ones losing the cultural war over your blessed AR15. Right now you are losing the popular choice by 61%. One more shooting and your gun will be gone alone with you cons...

So people die and your side wins ? You should be buying AR-15s and distributing them at mental hospitals.

When people have to die for this nation to change there are no winners just losers.
