Besides, it doesn't matter to you what the facts are. You'll spout the Democrat line anyway.

House Republicans vote to release their memo, keep Democratic memo secret
"I think we have crossed a deeply regrettable line."

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee voted Monday to release a secret memo on the Justice Department probe into possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election — while refusing to let the top-ranking Democrat release a competing report.

FBI Director Christopher Wray reportedly met with Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), who prepared the memo, and asked him to wait to release it, but Nunes moved forward with the vote anyways.

@costareports
Just spoke w/ Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). He tells Post that Wray “raised concerns” about memo after viewing it, told Schiff about them today. Asked cmmte to wait for him to brief them before voting on release. Cmmte instead voted tonight. Schiff calls the move “disgraceful.”

Nunes claims his memo shows that the FBI and DOJ used tainted information to form a politically biased investigation into the Trump campaign. Specifically, the memo says Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein signed off on an application extending the surveillance on Trump campaign associate Carter Page, the New York Times reported.

Republicans and Fox News pundits have been clamoring for the release of the memo, calling it “worse than Watergate.” Until now, Nunes has kept his memo close — refusing to share it with Senate Republicans or officials with the DOJ and FBI.

“I viewed the classified report from House Intel relating to the FBI, FISA abuses, the infamous Russian dossier, and so-called ‘Russian collusion.’ What I saw is absolutely shocking,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) said. “This report needs to be released — now. Americans deserve the truth. #ReleaseTheMemo.”

Contrary to what Republicans claim, the House Intelligence Committee’s top-ranking Democrat, Adam Schiff (CA), said that Nunes’ memo is completely biased, and cherry picks intelligence to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian collusion. “[Republicans] seek to selectively and misleadingly characterize classified information in an effort to Protect the President at any cost,” Schiff said last Wednesday.

The DOJ also warned Nunes last week that releasing the memo without review by law enforcement would be “extraordinarily reckless”

You either now agree with the Republicans or you have misread and did not understand what Trey said!

In other words, Trey said that there is not a good enough argument to keep the memo from being released to the public!

His tweet says: it is important for the American public to know if the dossier was paid by another candidate, used in Court pleadings, vetted before it was used, vetted after it was used, and whether all relevant facts were shared with the tribunal approving of the FISA application.

In another tweet he made it clear that he trusts the FBI and DOJ. “While this memo raises serious concerns with the FISA process, I have been and remain confident in the overwhelming majority ( notice he did not say ALL) of the men and women serving at the FBI and DOJ”.

Trey Gowdy has always had one objective and that was to pursue the truth and to follow the law in that pursuit! He has always believed that the American people have the right to know this truth, with exceptions!

South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said the recently released, controversial GOP memo alleging FBI abuses of its surveillance authority does not have "any impact on the Russia probe," and even without the Steele dossier, there would be a Russia investigation.

"There is a Russia investigation without a dossier," Gowdy said in an interview that aired Sunday on CBS's "Face the Nation," days after he announced his decision not to seek re-election.

Christopher Steele is a British Citizen, residing in Britain. An ex-Spy with a specialization in Russia. A long working relationship with the FBI. Then there is the important bit. He was contracted by Fusion GPS, a conservative political research group, run by known Conservative journalists. Fusion commisioned Steele to start work at the behest of the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative American Newspaper based in Washington DC.

Notice the pattern here?

Mr. Steele was so concerned by what he discovered, that he forwarded his research to the FBI. In his opinion, as an FBI resource, he was watching a crime unfold in real time.

Chris Steele was a little too thorough, too competent in his work. Prosecuting him is nonsense. The Brits could rightly and justifiably retaliate. No this is a threat to all of the other Opo Research firms. Don’t go to far. Do not follow the Money.

Mueller is following the Money.

Did I show you what gowdy had to say>>>>??

The demo memo was not suppressed!!!!! The Republicans just insisted that it go through the same process that their Memo did! You have nothing but sensationalism! You get your info from just the left and shifty Schiff or your hate for our President and conservatives have taken control of very existence. I've read your posts for years and you used to be able to think for yourself and you weren't so crude!

The Republicans plan on releasing 4 more Memos. I have to do some more reading to know the timeline of the planned release of the next 4!

As far as your alleged gossip of Trey Gowdy!!!!!! He wouldn't lower himself to that level to say that about the President of the US! You really don't understand the honor and loyalty that that young man represents. I wish Washington was full of Trey Gowdys'.

This thing has just started........... How far will it take us....... What will it uncover???????? I don't know, but it won't be boring!!!!!

May GOD have mercy on our wonderful beloved country!!!!!

“I was pretty integrally involved in the drafting of [the memo],” Gowdy said, “There is a Russia investigation without a dossier. So to the extent the memo deals with the dossier and the FISA process, the dossier has nothing to do with the meeting at Trump Tower. The dossier has nothing to do with an email sent by Cambridge Analytica. The dossier really has nothing to do with George Papadopoulos’ meeting in Great Britain.”…
“It also doesn’t have anything to do with obstruction of justice,” Gowdy told Brennan, “So there’s going to be a Russia probe, even without a dossier.”

This is the actual conversation!
Margaret: the memo has no impact on the Russia probe?

Trey: No not o me , it doesn't... and I was pretty integrally involved in the drafting in it. There is a Russian investigation without the dossier. So to the extent the memo deals with the dossier and the FISA process, the dossier has nothing to do with the meeting at Trump Tower. The dossier has nothing to do with an email sent by Cambridge Analytical. The dossier really has nothing to do with George Papadopoulos' meeting in Great Britain. It also doesn't have anything to do with obstruction of justice. So there's going to be a Russia probe, even without a dossier.

And then there is this: but...but it's both the Steele dossier , and who paid for it, and whether or not it was vetted, but it's also not what was not in it. This is an application to a court. So I get that Schiff and others are worried about what's not in my memo. I wish that they were equally concerned about what's in the FISA application, which is a lot of really important information about the source, and its sub sources, and the fact that he was hired by the DNC and the Clinton campaign, and the fact that he was biased against President Trump. This is all the information that The finder of fact is entitled to.

Trey goes on to say that FICAwoulf not have been authorized if it were not for the dossier!!!!!!!!!

You've got comprehension problems.

Of course there would be a Russia investigation, but not cenered around the false Trump collusion lie that was created by Hillary's purchasing a FISA warrant on her opposition campaign.

There's a lot of real Russian collusion to investigate. Collusion with actual evidence. Evidence that the Trump collusion lie never had.
