Americans trust the mainstream media less and less, and a new study shows that it’s due to the overwhelmingly negative media coverage of President Donald Trump.


Newsbusters, which is a part of the Media Research Center, has been following this story all year and found that from September through November 2017, the mainstream media’s coverage of the president was 90 percent negative.

The American people are getting tired of it.

The study includes ABC, CBS and NBC News.


In November, for example, there were only 33 positive comments about Trump made by reporters and anchors, as opposed to 320 negative comments.

Take a look at the astonishing numbers:

NBC News even reported on a Pew Research Center study that found a whopping 62 percent of the mainstream media coverage of President Trump has been negative since his inauguration.

That study also found that only 5 percent of that coverage is positive.

On the other hand, the mainstream media was obsessed with praising former President Barack Obama.

The study showed that in early 2009, coverage of the former president was 42 percent positive and only 20 percent negative.

The bias is so clear that it’s sickening.


Likewise, an American Press Institute study found that the majority of Americans are becoming more and more distrustful of the “big name” news media.

“Only 24 percent of Americans say they believe the news media in general are ‘moral,'” the study showed. According to the study, that number goes up when Americans are asked about the media they habitually rely on — to 53 percent.

But that’s not exactly an outstanding endorsement.


So what is happening to the American news media?

Simply speaking, it’s a matter of cause and effect. Donald Trump refuses to follow the media’s liberal agenda, and so they get angry and lash out with negative news coverage.


However, the American people aren’t easily fooled.

We know when we are being told lies.

Unless they apologize and start telling the truth, we will not believe the mainstream media.
