The Vikings were those Europeans.

But who knows the true beginnings of this continent ?

It baffles the imagination.

From my studies and research, Christobel Columbo { birth name} was a Jew in Spain.
The Spanish Inquisition was going on there.
The Catholics were burning people at the stake who did not ascribe to their religious belief.
Christobel changed his name to 'Christopher Columbus'.
He wanted to transport fellow Jews away from Spain, so they wouldn't be burned at the stake.
Apparently they said they believed the Catholics but in truth and fact they did not and the Catholics
decided to kill them for not accepting their faith.
He was able to convince Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand that if they would stake him $$ he would sail west
and bring them back all sorts of gold and silver as it was plentiful.
They agreed. Columbus brought many Jews to south America and plundered killing tribes etc and stealing their
treasures gold silver etc taking it back to Spain.
I assume thata's why Catholicism and the Spanish language is spoken in South America...
Columbus was not a super great guy as we are told and yes the Viking discovered America, not Columbus...(:
just relaying what I've studied...

Another MSM reports so distorted to enhance their narratives. Anything coming from these groups is so toxic tht poison the minds of people. Beware!

And these people now? Took advantage of most benefits of the past achievements that they now abuse yet enjoy.

As a matter of fact, there were fishing boats from what is now France and Ireland that visited North America before the earliest Viking presence that we know of. Artifacts have been discovered near Boston that predate the Vikings. Sailing from Europe to North America was not that big of a deal, considering the route the fishing boats would have taken rarely went more than seven or eight days between landfalls. It has been theorized, (not proven) that ancient Phoenicians visited these shores. They were skilled sailors, and their ships were certainly good enough to cross the Atlantic. Funny thing about those old fishermen and merchant sailors; if a ship could sail there, more than likely someone did. Back then when literacy was the exception and there were few written records of voyages, it is not surprising that there are no records.
It has come to light that Ferdinand Magellan had a chart showing the southern coast of South America that he supposedly "discovered."

I think the Portuguese sailed as far west as the coast of South America to find favorable winds and currents to sail around the Horn of Africa. Long before that, there’s evidence of Viking settlements in Newfoundland. There were “discoverers” of the Americas at several times and locations and no single person can take credit as “the person who discovered America”. The first group of people who immigrated, with families and livestock, to the New World for the singular purpose of starting a new life, and not for loot and plunder, were the Pilgrims in 1620.

What I’ve studied agrees with you. Most people who came were not the most noble type, but, the world was a much more ruthless place then and to the strong went the booty. Even the first British colonies we primarily concerned with getting rich and famous. The Pilgrims were the first to bring their families for the express purpose of starting anew.

1604 – Acadia – French.
1605 – Port Royal – French.
1607 – Jamestown – English.
1607 – Popham Colony – English.
1608 – Quebec – French.
1610 – Cuper's Cove – English.
1610 – Kecoughtan, Virginia – English.
1610 – Santa Fe – Spanish

You could argue the point about Port Royal. The others were legitimate settlements.

Saw something on tv a few weeks ago that said Columbus never made it here. Other accounts cite Amerigo Vespugo and still another said Vikings. It definitely wasn't Columbus. All in all it was native American Indian tribes who were here before anyone yet they get no credit. It's always someone from across the pond coming here that "discovered" America.

Not Exactly
They Were Sent Over Under Contract, Which They Violated
And Were Left To Fend For Themselves

Then Set Up A Communal Society That Almost Killed Them All
