I agree.........too many idiots on here bashing Trump. Usually I can pass over them.
Did not see Helliary charity sending any money....or food or people to help...... and never will.
Did see thousands of ordinary Americans there from different states there with boats and doing all they can.
The Cajun Navy grouped up and convoyed over leaving their families and jobs to help. Then drove back 150 miles to gas up in Lake Charles and get food and returned.
Guess the fagots and snowflakes were in their safe places criticizing PRESIDENT TRUMP.
I am in Dallas and we have thousands to people here in Shelters and the response has been without equal.
Proud of be a Texan and American.!!!

And to be fair, saw where a Guy in Alabama went out and bought a boat and headed to Texas. Had to buy tires and battery on the way but he is now in the floodwaters of Houston helping perfect strangers and sleeping when he can in his truck. Thinking of trying to locate him and make him a HONORARY TEXAN.

Here is what I do to show gratitude to our veterans who proudly wear their baseball caps in public.

Each month I go to the bank and ask for a roll of gold dollars. Very nice coin and when I see a hat I give one to the veteran and his wife as a show of gratitude. Will warm your heart to see the reactions. Try it and see what one dollar can mean to someone.
Sometimes I see them in the store and they tell me again how much it means to them and they are and are holding on to it. They ask for my name and I never give it to them.

It is the man or woman who wakes up early everyday, gets dressed, fixes kids lunches, gets them off to school and goes to a job they most often hate, navigate the traffic with rude and selfish drivers talking on cell phones, spends eight hours and then do it all over again on the way home.
Most often 50 weeks a year.
All to support the family and find time to visit the shut ins, sick and other people that require some attention.
