I would. He is a down home boy and very smart. Loves his home state of Michigan. I had the privilege of talking to him a couple of times when I lived in Michigan. He used to give free concerts at the Intersection in Grand Rapids.

God knows Michigan needs all the help it can get. One of the most beautiful states I've ever lived in, but it's going to hell being over run by muslims......

I don't live there, but if I did, I'd probably vote for him.

It's sad Bomb. It's such a gorgeous state. Lived there for 20 years. Thought about moving back at times. But no way would I go now unless I found a little cabin way way up in the UP.

I've been thinking about going commando for some time now. I believe I have the skills necessary to live just about anywhere. I was thinking of the Canadien Rockies. Food wouldn't be a problem, and water shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll miss the internet and my video games, but if things get as bad as I think they will, "civilization" is not someplace I'd want to live.

I hear ya....have to be by a fresh water supply. If it was the mountains....Id want it to be..one way in and one way out. I never thought this would be in my life time but I'm thinking it will be. Even my kids agree with me and they're not even in their 30's yet.

kankune, What qualifies him. Does he write books and or papers on the law? Did he head an important political position? Was he a top general? Don't you think we have had one too many entertainers in politics?

I'm not sure if he's done any of those things Salt. But what I do know is he loves the state of Michigan and it's citizens. As far as I can see the men/women that have written books/papers on the law, have been top generals (there are a few good ones) ie: Mad dog. Or the heads of any political position are not doing us a spit worth of good. I'll go with a good honest heart and patriotism anytime.

That's our problem...too many politicians and beaurocrats that only have their self interests at heart. And that's on both sides..... Just sayin..

I really don't know much about him. Politically speaking that is. Or otherwise.

He's a patriot. That's good enough for me.

None of those things are bad but none of them are absolutely necessary.

Obama was a lawyer. He wrote or had somebody in his name write books. He wrote law reviews for Harvard. And he was an absolute butt sucking disaster of a president.

I'm glad we have somebody that understands business. That's new. Obama never ran a lemonade stand. Hillary Clinton has never run anything but a corrupt political life. Trump's got his problems but understanding business is a great thing.

A teacher would be nice. Newt Gingrich has a lot of qualities because he understand history.

A military person would be fantastic. Being a general is not necessary. Jimmy Carter and John McCain both served with distinction in military. Jimmy Carter was the worst president in my lifetime until Obama was elected and John McCain absolutely sucks as a senator.
