I listen and watch a lot of news. Especially like Varney and Company in the morning. Heard today that at this point in Bush's presidency he had well over one hundred cabinet positions confirmed. Same with Obama. Trump has less than sixty. Due to Schumer and Company delaying and obstructing. Of course those positions are held by hold overs from Obama. So besides obstructing Trump what are the Democratic position/policies on:
1). Economy
2).Health care
3). Borders
4). National Security
5). Immigration
6). Voter Integrity
7). Budget deficit
8). Climate Change
9). Education

These are but a few important subjects Americans should be concerned about. Just like on OPP I hear a lot of left wing bitching but not one solution. No wonder they can't connect with the American public. How can we have legitimate debates when one side just wants to scream and shout?

President Trump should fire every one of those Obama appointed hold-overs, and tell the Democrats to start allowing his appointees to be approved, so the federal government doesn't have to shut down, and if the Democrats refuse to, and keep up with their obstructionism, then President Trump needs to put the blame for the federal government shutdown on the Democrats in the US Congress.

I really dislike stating the Federal Government is going to be "shut down"... That isn't so... Certain low level agencies and departments can be temporarily closed, but the Federal Government doesn't ever "shut down"... And there is no reason to close any low level agency or department if the head of the highest agency or department is terminated... It just won't happen...

Obama shut down many parts of the federal government that didn't have to be shut down, 'Parks & Recreation' being one because it got it's funding from the revenue it collected from the people who visited the parks, and were never shut down in previous federal government shut-downs, but Obama wanted to punish the American people to get them mad at the Republicans for not giving him what he wanted, when he shut down the federal government because he wouldn't accept their budget, but instead wanted more 'Continuous Resolutions'.

If I fire all the Obama's appointed hold-overs, I also fire the people they hired to assist them in running their departments. Then if the department could not be run by those that are left, I shut it down and look at the next department, where I'd do the same thing, until all of Obama's appointees and their hired assistants are gone. If that shuts down the federal government, or just parts of it, so be it, and I'd put the blame on the Democrats holding up the approval process.

Why is there such a big backlog of President Trump's appointees waiting to be approved? Is this US Senate more stupid, incapable, and malfeasant than the US Senates that approved all of Obama's and Bush's appointees by this time in their administrations? If not, then what's the holdup, the American people should be informed of the problem of why President Trump's people cannot be approved as fast as Obama's and Bush's were.
