No you are just one of many who promote this distorted parochial view of history, you are not special. You could apply the same first paragraphs of your post to the Christian "faith" and it would fit. Unfortunately nothing in this life is quite perfect and Christian's for all their earnest views of themselves, colonized the new world with as much accompanying greed and brutality as any other "faith" anywhere or at anytime in History. Not surprising when you factor in the Patriarchal foundation of all religions with its fear driven power and control mechanisms, and not surprising that these "faiths" would find themselves in competition for control of the masses.

It should not be forgotten that the three major competing religions, Islam, Judaism and Christianity are all children of the same father...Abraham. All three according to their respective "holy" books deployed summary executions, genocide, slavery, torture and mutilation as instruments of control.

The current rise of Islamic extremism by individuals from middle eastern countries is more about economic hardship of common people than it is an example of the values of their professed faith. The oppressive leaders in these tribal autocratic cultures have cunningly diverted blame for the misery of daily life on to all things western including western religion. In a similar fashion groups in western countries beat the fear drum about the threat of Muslims and suspicion of people from middle eastern countries. Donald Trumps campaign used fear and suspicion of "others" to enhance his candidacy and play to the widening income gap and sense of loss for the American middle class. Maybe we need to understand that the display of religious zeal and extremism is more often a megaphone for poverty and broken dreams than it is a real expression of the underlying faith.

That these and any fanatics of any conviction need to be contained and neutralized is obvious but that is much more likely to be successful over the long term by avoiding the demonization of primary groups of the worlds population solely on the basis of their faith.

Just like a tapeworm it gradually invades it’s host, (non Muslim countries) and lives off of the resources of it’s host until it kills the host (destroys all positive aspects of the Christian country). Then it moves on - to another host to do the same thing to it. Islam is being allowed to do this due to the stupidity and the graciousness of Christian countries and the idea that they have to be Politically Correct. Various Christian church groups: Catholic, Lutheran, Methodists, etc are even being paid “taxpayer money” to help Muslims migrate to these countries and live off of taxpayer paid welfare. In other words Christian countries are PAYING Muslims to invade their countries and overtake them.

The Muslims are paying them back by raping their women, bombing them where ever large groups of people congregate and beheading whoever they want to.

Muslims are not only suckers but the most violent killers of all human being who don't believe in their Islam god. The world is violent because of Muslims. History was correct; they live by the sword and die by the sword. Read their Quran and Hadith, it orders them to kill those who don't believe and don't convert.
