Yes, I did both of those. When you register to vote, you present ID's to prove your citizenship, and other ID's of your residence.
Then when you vote, your name is already in the voting records, present your ID to prove you are the person on the records, then cast your vote.

But in California and other liberal states, they don't require any of them.
No ID's, no registration on record. That was why California must have 5 million illegal aliens who voted for Obama, and Hillary Clinton. I believe Obama won twice due to fraudulent votes. I also believe that Hillary got more popular votes because of fraudulent votes of dead people, illegal aliens, the Soros voting machines recorded votes of Republicans to the Hillary Clinton and Obama, and many voted more than ones. Democrat bushes transported them from one county or city to another to vote several times.

Democrats are proven several times that they are FRAUDULENT, CORRUPT, AND HAVE NO MORALS.
================== br Yes, I did both of those. Wh... (show quote)

First time I have seen someone agreeing with my thought Obambam only got elected by fraud. I also believe him to be a fraud in the first place. I can't figure why Soros is still allowed to be in this country. PC anyone?

If your not licensed to drive in this country then you probably are not qualified to be voting! How can you legally get by in our country with out an I.D.? You have to prove who you are to open a bank or credit account, buy insurance, rent or buy a home, enroll in school but most of all to legally cast your vote in an election? Duh?

A person, who does not drive, can go to their State or Commonwealth (4 of those) motor vehicles administration and obtain a photo ID.

Voter registration card and ID...

It should be noted that here in Texas, if I can get a ID and a registration card I can vote irrespective of my citizenship...

And if you don't drive just how are you suppose to get to your motor vehicle administration?

I have never in my ife had to show proof of citizenship to vote. Back in 1981, on an SGA trip to the Bahamas, we had to have either a passport or voter registration card to fly out of the country, butnot to vote. I've always lived in small towns where most proplr know all their neighbors.

Duh, ask a friend or public transit. There is not a single vehicle administration office, I have ever seen, that does not have a public transit stop directly out front. In the case of an elder, living in an elder facility, the facility transportation bus will take them.

Even though we have lived here for 20 years and the people at the voting place know us, we MUST show ID every time we vote. I cannot remember having to proof of citizenship when I first registered to vote but did have to when I first registered in this state. SWMBO says she remembers having to prove citizenship for first vote in Minnesota with her birth certificate.

No, because illegal aliens can get them legally in California.

I would assume the same way you would go shopping or to an appointment. It's really not "Rocket Science!"
