Welcome, Rusty. First things first; from here on out, if you wish to reply to a particular comment, click the Quote Reply at the bottom of the post.

With that out of the way; what the heck are you asking? Are you suggesting we do away with the Electoral College and elect the POTUS by popular vote? Or are you suggesting that the Electoral College should've ignored the voices of the people they represent, and vote however they wish?

And Trump, not an intellectual person? Pretty sure it takes a degree of intelligence to have hundreds of successful businesses.

What, exactly, are you trying to say?

I believed that's what democracy means, the will of the people, by the people and for the people. the electoral vote was install for this precise blunder wouldn't occurred, they where supposed to be the most intellectual's with the knowledge to fit best the country , and trump maybe intellectual in his fields, and businesses but; he has proven an ignorant in everything else, not even US history. he is a successful business guy, but that's about it doesn't know anything when it comes to world affairs, none the less how to run a country

They were the most intellectual, and they did do exactly what's best for this country. You do know that we don't live in a democracy, right?

He will do a fine job as president. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy, you have seven more years in front of you. Oh and, he'll do even better if the screeching Howler monkeys would stop rioting and let him do his work.

Don't forget use Quote Reply below. That's how we all know to whom you're speaking, thanks.

Democracy? I'm going out on a limb here, and assume that you have not read the Constitution of the United States. That is the basis of all of our laws. Would you like to make some money? I will pay you $50 for every time you can find the word Democracy written in that Constitution.
The election of our president has been determined by the winner of the Electoral College since 1788. If you wish to change or nullify that, there is a process called a Constitutional Amendment by which it may be done. It is complicated and lengthy, so you'd best get started.
I believe that English is not your native language, so I can understand why you might be confused; however, the popular vote has NEVER been the means by which our presidents have been chosen.

I'll match that $50, and raise $1,000. No, make it $10,000. I'll even make it $10,000 per instance. Aw, what the heck, let's go $100,000. I'm feeling generous today. Or just take me up on this:
