I was rather dismayed to see Trump use the Coast Guard Academy commencement address, to whine about himself, specifically, the unfair way the press and others are treating him. Not only are these self inflicted wounds, they're exaggerated as well. He went so far as to claim that he's been treated worse than any President in history, an exaggeration like the one where he had the largest electoral win of any President in history, or the largest inaugural crowd in history. It might have helped him if he'd actually read any of the history he's claiming to have exceeded, but that's another story.

I don't recall Trump having been accused of not being a natural born American, faking his college transcripts, or of being a Muslim, do you? Come to think of it, Trump himself is the originator of some of those accusations against the previous President. Is this Karma maybe? In any case, the striking thing, beyond the exaggeration, is that Trump is responsible for his wounds, and no one else - the press just has the audacity to repeat the stupid things he does and says. He has a staff of justifiers and explainers, doing their best to spin his lunacy, but within 24 hours, he undoes all their hard work with the next tweet or interview.

Perhaps, Trump is NOT involved with Russia, but the folks in his circle cannot make that claim, and only an idiot would not be aware of what his people were doing. That means, either Trump is a total idiot, or he's complicit, take your pick. Trump made the claim that he was elected to look out for the forgotten people, but his actions forgot all about them too, as all of his actions served himself and his corporate friends - and no one else. So, he's being treated unfairly - by the media pointing out his failures to keep his promises, repeating his outrageous claims, and giving a voice to all the lawmakers fed up with his foolishness.

Had he believed that the President should be respected and revered - he might have kept his mouth and his twitter account off of the Previous holder of that office. What goes around comes around, no? He can whine all he wants - but it was HE who shit in his own pool.

Oh please,
There wasn't a time Obama didn't whine about himself when he was in front of a camera, you didn't mind then.

As far as Russian involvement, no Politician has made as much off the Russians, then what Clintons did, sooo.....

The FBI, Feinstein, Waters, and just about.everyone else openly admit there is no Trump--Russian connection and you say "perhaps"? Big of you.

Comey testified that Trump did not attempt to halt any investigation. Every accusation being made against him is being destroyed. And.the talk is impeachment.

I.believe this has gone on too long. If you.people.don't knock off the childish petulant behavior and grow up, I think you won't like what's coming.

Your behavior is proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that not one of you is fit to lead and America is.watching you destroy what little you had left. You're number 3 since the election and working.on number 4. And you posture about the midterms. Riiight.

He isn't self inflicting anything. You are. He is putting the media on notice. What happens will be your fault.

Ip: We never did see a legit birth certificate and Obama's education records are still sealed. How come NO member of his graduating class can remember Obama, a seemingly popular person and good speaker? MSM (Fake News) has been proven time and time again their political bias.

Trump is 100% correct. The lamestream media have gone after him with a ferocity that has never before been seen in the history of man. And the Democrats are besides themselves now that a Mueller has been appointed to investigate the non-existent Russia connection. Remember, Comey himself testified in May before Congress that nobody in the Trump administration had exerted any pressure on the FBI to stop any investigations. Yet Comey now says that Trump pressured him in February.
This inquiry is the proverbial tempest in a teapot. It's already a foregone conclusion - Russia had nothing to do with Hillary losing. It's the way the Democrats' way of diverting attention from a failed candidate's humiliating loss to a political neophyte.
But when real scandals were all around us, Benghazi, IRS investigations, Fast and Furious, etc., where were the special investigators? Nowhere to be found.

An excellent post, but I am only the second one to appreciate it.

The other posters seem to actually believe that Trump has made no mistakes. (Every human has made mistakes.) He is a genius at making a fool of himself.

Let me explain Marv, nothing Trump has said has ever come close to the outright lies and ridiculous invented stories you clowns spread about him.

The fact that it is all blowing up in your face is scaring you jerks to death and you complicate your fate by stepping up the very same behavior that cost you everything in Nov.

Hillary is a pig. America knows it and you sticking up for her and defending her traitorous actions sealed your fate. Like it or not, there are more patriots in America than non-patriots and many were former democrats until you started defending her. That opened their eyes and they left your party. And they are still leaving.

When this newest investigation has concluded and proves once again you libprogs lied and invented your accusations, this time we are going to rip you wide open in front of the world. It's done. You.broke the camel's back and now the timeline, quotes, names, all, and I mean ALL your lies are going to be laid out in plain sight. Your ignorant attempts to take Trump down are blowing up in your face because you don't have the sense to know when to shut up.

You.forgot when you open a door the traffic can flow either way.

Now deal with it.

An excellent post? PERHAPS Trump had no Russian connection?

It's too late for you to back peddle. You are not allowed to lie for months and then beg off the lies when you see it blowing up in your face.

And if you are too dumb to not follow your up line as they troll for anything to discredit Trump, that's your problem.

If you have no common sense you better find some soon before you are extinct.

The only way this will blow up in my face is for Trump to be impeached and for Pence to become president. I shutter at the thought!

docAdhoc, I have a question. After inauguration, when Trump was asked "have you or your campaign members had contact with Russians?", his answer had been "yes. I have business interest in Russia. This has been turned over to my sons."

We could have screamed for his tax returns, but he could not have been impeached for lying.
