A&E, huh? This website is always good for a laugh. 40 "experts"? That's rich.
Who are
"those asking for a legitimate investigation of 911"?
What does that mean exactly? What would make an investigation "legitimate"? Who would conduct this investigation? More importantly, what, exactly, would they investigate and how would they approach such a thing?
The World Trade Center is gone. Except for a number of artifacts in the memorial museum and evidence lockers, there is little physical evidence left to investigate. (Physical evidence is crucial in any investigation) Apart from the thousands of bits of human remains awaiting DNA identification in the vaults of the ME labs and the bone fragments, finger and toenails, teeth and small personal items scattered all over south Manhattan that have not yet been found (and possibly never will be), and the pieces of concrete, steel, aluminum, and other such remains of buildings and aircraft that are too small to even be visible; apart from all this, there is very little left of the original WTC.
On April 26, 2013, a 5 foot by 17 inch part of a Boeing 767, determined to be a trailing edge flap support structure, was found wedged between two buildings a block and a half north of where the South Tower stood.
In 2011, the FBI released for public viewing a trove of artifacts from its evidence lockers. These artifacts included everything from personal cell phones and pagers to aircraft engines and landing gear. And, some of the evidence released are clues that were later uncovered about the 9/11 mastermind's (KSM) activities.
I'm sure this would be helpful in an investigation.
Then there are the survivors and witnesses. What about them? Some number of them have passed away. Those still living would not be reliable witnesses. Time has a way of eroding memories. and so many of tho survivors are dealing with PTSD and the accompanying nightmares and emotional sweats, many are still undergoing counseling and therapy. A significant number of firefighters have taken early retirement or simply quit the service--a couple of them have committed suicide. The witnesses who watched it all are also still dealing with the horror they witnessed. Loved ones of those lost are trying to hold on to remembrance of their family members and friends while trying to forget the terrible experiences they suffered on 9/11. So, what possible good could come from calling these people to the witness stand after all this time and emotional challenges?
If you think that a "legitimate investigation" involves the 9/11 truth movement rolling out a truckload of youtube videos accompanied by truther narration and "expert" opinions based on assumptions, speculations, fabrications, revisionist history, erroneous perceptions, reinvention of engineering principles, butchered science, and ideological agendas, you would be very wrong.
The 9/11 truth movement completely ignores Occam's Razor in favor of fabricating a very complex and often contradictory series of explanations that, in effect, don't explain anything.
Hanlon's Razor is more accurate in describing the MO of the 9/11 truthers:
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity"And, the Dunning–Kruger effect would also apply. This is a cognitive bias in which low-ability individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability as much higher than it really is.
Be careful what you ask for.
