Not in a million years would I guess that and I actually learned Morse code back in my ham radio days. I did everything but get a license.

I was an operator in Antarctica from 1989 to 1992. Got my professional license in England in 1985 and my amateur license from the Falkland Islands. My amateur callsign is VP8CBN. Small world...

OK Boys and girls, I gotcha this time. You'll NEVER figure this one out:

A palindrome is a word that reads the same when spelled backwards (eg rotavator). How could the following word be considered a palindrome?

Footstool

Give it to a liberal. They can spin anything.

Mad magazine's January 1961 had a welcome to the year as the first upside down year since 1881 & the last until 6009.

Whatever happened to Mad Magazine? I used to love reading that as a youngster. That and National Lampoon. Remember this?

Mad is still going. It's gotten much more political & is targeting Trump. That's a bit of a change since, in 1988 & 1992, most of the staff revealed they voted for Bush & Quayle.

National Lampoon took the Volkswagen ad with the picture of the old bug floating on water because it was watertight. The caption had a large font message & below that a small font message. Lampoon changed the large font to "If Kennedy drove this car, he'd be president." The issue was sold out in one day and Volkswagen sued.

My favorite NL cover was of a chicom pilot in a MIG shooting down Santa Claus and screaming, "Eat death, fat lackey of capitalist toy mongers". It was a perfect example of pinko lunacy.
