OK Boys and girls, I gotcha this time. You'll NEVER figure this one out:

A palindrome is a word that reads the same when spelled backwards (eg rotavator). How could the following word be considered a palindrome?

Looking at it in the mirror doesn't work,..... maybe, no, lootstoof ain't right. Uh hmmmm, upside down, no.

You only rotate the letters in between f and l?

That's what I thought, or just move the one little line from the F over to the L and move the bottom of the L up to the top. Then invert the old F.

Interchange the F and L then read it in a mirror

Frontwards, backwards horizontally, top to bottom left to right, in columns and bottom to top right to left, in columns

The diagonals are also palindromes although they are not words.

Not in a million years would I guess that and I actually learned Morse code back in my ham radio days. I did everything but get a license.
