The perils of adultery

God came to this planet and wrote with His finger in stone do not commit adultery. No one will prosper doing something God has forbidden. We want supernatural miracles but don’t even consider following God’s instructions. We put our own fleshly desires above God’s word. This will lead to disaster. There are questions we should consider before we do something God forbids. In the case of adultery we should consider the consequences also. How will people look at you if they find out? What about your self esteem? What effect will the knowledge of your affair have on your children? Is there a chance I could catch a disease? What happens if I infect my spouse? When you marry your life changes. You should esteem your new family over the old. You should care for your kids before your parents.

The perils of adultery br br God came to this pla... (show quote)

Trump has committed adultery on every one of his wives. If it was wrong why moral Christians endorse him as president?

As for adultery itself--we create a bond with our spouse through sex and when we have sex with others we betray that bond. This has nothing to do with any disease that you might catch but a betrayal of trust that once it occurs is almost impossible to restore....

Your first statement is unproven:
In the summer of 1990, at the height of his bitter divorce from his first wife, Donald Trump was carrying on a very public extramarital affair with a former beauty queen, Marla Maples.

As part of the couple’s divorce proceedings, Ivana Trump’s lawyers asked him under oath about his dealings with other women and whether he had been faithful to his wife.

Instead of answering, Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. Over the course of five depositions that summer, he was asked approximately 100 questions related to marital infidelity. He pleaded the Fifth on 97 of them.

“Donald preaches about his devotion to the Second Amendment, but it was the Fifth Amendment that was his favorite when he was deposed in the divorce with Ivana,” wrote biographer Wayne Barrett in his 1992 book, Trump: The Greatest Show on Earth. A New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement report later verified Barrett’s reporting on those depositions, which are still sealed.

For Trump, taking the Fifth seemed to work out well. He later bragged that he managed to settle the divorce without giving his first wife a penny more than required by the prenuptial agreement."

It speaks for itself, no man is required to give testimony against himself. While he may have committed adultery, he is not the most egregious proponent of infidelity. None of the women he had relations with ever claimed to have been raped. The trolls who falsely claimed that during his campaign were proven to be shills for the Democratic party.

That said, adultery is betrayal of spouse as well as betrayal of God through violation of the wedding vows. It is death of the soul.

Careful about flinging that stone filled turd because remember if you even look at a woman, not your spouse, lustfully you've committed adultery. I'm confident you do not possess the same discipline I have trained my own heart, mind and body inasmuch as I am able to look upon a young, gorgeous and voluptuous woman and simply see her as an object of beauty.

Really! I tried that line when my wife caught me looking but she didn't buy that even an iota.
