To be fair Let's see what the Republicans have done since Obama been in office!

Obama did do lot of things even without Repubs support....and seems Repubs never agree with that accusation....here is the list I found on web.....lets see if someone willing to still refute....

Tax on Companies that ship jobs overseas- A bill that would have eliminated a tax break that companies get when they ship jobs overseas. Republicans blocked this, allowing companies to keep the tax break they receive when they ship jobs to other countries.
Political Ad disclosure bill- Would have required all donors to political campaigns to reveal themselves. Republicans blocked this, not once but twice.
Subpoena Power for the Committee investigating the BP Oil Spill – Give subpoena power to the independent committee responsible for investigating BP’s roll in the oil spill. Republicans attempted to block this.
The Small Business Jobs Act -would give LOCAL, community banks access to billions of dollars to loan to small businesses. Republicans blocked this, then attempted to block it a second time and failed.
The DREAM Act- Gives immigrant youth who were brought here as children a path to citizenship by earning a college degree or serving the military for 2 years. Republicans blocked this.
Repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”- Would have repealed the law that forces gay and lesbian services members to lie about their sexuality and gives the military the right to discharge soldiers based on their sexuality. Republicans blocked this many times and Democrats were finally able to pass it with the support of just 2 Republicans.
Senator Franken’s Anti-Rape Amendment to the Defense Appropriations Bill – Makes it so that women raped overseas while working for foreign contractors have the right to have their case heard in an American court instead of having their case mediated by the company they work for. Only Republican men voted against this, but it passed.
Benefits for Homeless Veterans- Would have expanded benefits to homeless veterans and homeless veterans with children. Republicans blocked this.
Affordable Health Care For America Act- Prevents insurance companies from discriminating against you on the basis of “pre-existing conditions”. Requires that insurance companies spend 85 cents of every dollar that you pay on your actual health care. Limits health insurance companies profit margins. Republicans blocked this for months before it finally passed and have vowed to repeal it if they are elected.
Health Care for the 9/11 First Responders who got sick from being at Ground Zero- Would provide billions of dollars in health care to help the 9/11 First Responders who were at Ground Zero on 9/11 and are now sick because of it. Republicans blocked this.
The Jobs Bill- Offsets the payroll tax for 1 year for companies that hire new employees, or people receiving unemployment insurance. Also gives other tax incentives to companies hiring new employees. Republicans attempted to block this.
Wall Street Reform- Puts stricter regulations on the banks, preventing them from becoming “too big to fail”. Curbs reckless spending practices that caused the banking crisis. Republicans attempted to block this.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act- Pumped billions of dollars into state and local Governments to prevent us from sinking into a second Great Depression. Republicans opposed this but now want to take credit for the parts of it that we know are successful.
Oil Spill Liability- Raises the liability on what companies can be made to pay to clean up after an oil spill. Republicans blocked this.
Immigration Reform- Republican suggested comprehensive immigration reform until Obama supported it. Now they’re rabidly opposed to it and even voted against their own legislation. Republicans blocked this.
Unemployment extension bill HR-4213- Would provide additional aid to the millions of Americans still on unemployment who are just trying to support themselves and their families. Republicans blocked this bill for 8 weeks before it finally passed. Republicans blocked this for 8 weeks before it finally passed.
Fair Pay Act of 2009- Also called the Lily Ledbetter bill. Requires that women receive equal compensation to men for doing the same work. Republicans attempted to block this.
No permanent military bases in Afghanistan.
Report identifying hybrid or electric propulsion systems and other fuel-saving technologies for incorporation into tactical motor vehicles.
Protection of child custody arrangements for parents who are members of the Armed Forces deployed in support of a contingency operation.
Improvements to Department of Defense domestic violence programs.
Department of Defense recognition of spouses of members of the Armed Forces.
Department of Defense recognition of children of members of the Armed Forces.
Enhancements to the Troops-to-Teachers Program.
Fiscal year 2011 increase in military basic pay.
Improving aural protection for members of the Armed Forces.
Comprehensive policy on neurocognitive assessment by the military health care system.
Authority to make excess nonlethal supplies available for domestic emergency assistance.
And those were just some of the progressive provisions. On the conservative side, there are these, and more:

Prohibition on the use of funds for the transfer or release of individuals detained at United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Prohibition on the use of funds to modify or construct facilities in the United States to house detainees transferred from United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Prohibition on use of funds to give Miranda warnings to Al Qaeda terrorists.

Now what have Republicans done for The Poor and Black People who are not Toadies Lately? http://m.dailykos.com/story/2016/8/30/1565215/-Exactly-what-has-the-GOP-done-for-black-people-lately-Part-1-of-8-Voter-Suppression. Maybe they should close their flaps for awhile!

President Obama inherited the second worse recession in history. The deficit for the FY he inherited was more than double that of the previous year. Unemployment was well into double digits. Despite six years of obstructionism, lies and petulance from your crowd he gave Trump a lower deficit than any during Bush's last term, and unemployment at the level considered full employment by the BLS. He got health care for 26 million Americans, made enormous strides in environmental protection, restored American prestige abroad, got us out of Bush's debacle in Iraq, stabilised Afghanistan, killed Osama bin Laden, made FEMA work again, restored morale at Justice, State, et al.
I'm fully aware you hate that. You hate most of your countrymen.

If Obama had been successful, Hillary would have been president. The only thing Obama ever accomplished for America's good was to be such a complete failure he was solely responsible for electing Trump. Furthermore, genius, Obama was part of the Democrat (Marxist) congress that caused the housing failure that dominoed and caused the financial disaster at the end of the Bush administration. Since democrats run away from responsibility, it's a character flaw all of them possess, they naturally all chirp the same talking point like the flock of vultures they are, and blamed Bush. Tell a lie often enough.....! Obama blamed Bush for everything so often it became an international joke on Obama and remains so today. "It's Bush's fault." Possessing class that is beyond Obama's reach, Bush never uttered a word in his defense. Now Obama had someone he could blame for all his failures, someone he knew was presidential and would not respond, and Obama, being a natural girlie boy coward, took full advantage and convinced every dumb son of a bitch that Obama's failures were Bush's fault. You were one of them I right? Of course you are!

We all expected your big mouth loser to immediately start his jack off judgements of Trump but evidently he knows Trump will stomp him unmercifully and must find a surrogate to do his fighting for him. By the way, it looks like there is trouble in paradise with the Obama marriage or sham marriage. You haven't heard yet have you?

Can Trump really ‘defund’ the state?
California receives a lot from the U.S., but data show it gives even more.
PRESIDENT TRUMP suggested that he might take action to pull federal subsidies from California for being “out of control” on issues such as immigration. “If we have to, we’ll defund,” he told Fox News. (Chris Kleponis Pool/Getty Images)
By John Myers and Raoul Rañoa
The recent suggestion by President Trump that he might take action to “defund” California’s federal subsidies over a showdown on immigration made national headlines. But it was what he said next that raised the more important question of the financial relationship between state and nation.
“We give tremendous amounts of money to California,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that aired before the Super Bowl.
What the president didn’t say: California gives a lot to the rest of America, too.
A closer look at some of the data — from government services in any given year, to taxes paid and beyond — shows how valuable the relationship is between California and the United States.
California: The world’s sixth-largest economy
A popular measurement of California’s economic heft is its gross domestic product, an often-updated snapshot of the projected dollar value for all goods and services. And as 2015 data published by the California Department of Finance makes clear, the Golden State’s GDP makes it an international powerhouse.
Lawmakers like to boast that California’s economy — now worth more than $2.4 trillion — would be the sixth-largest in the world if the state were its own nation. And there’s some speculation that the ripple effects of the “Brexit” vote in the United Kingdom may ultimately push California up one step, to No. 5.
No state’s economy comes close to the heft of California’s
The federal government’s own researchers estimate GDP for each of the 50 states, and California is clearly the top dog. While there’s a long-running rivalry with Texas , a Republican-dominated state that claims to be more business-friendly, California’s overall output is the clear winner.
The gap in GDP with other states is even more striking. And from a political viewpoint, it’s worth noting that two of the most hotly contested states in the 2016 presidential election — Florida and Pennsylvania — have combined goods and services that are less than two-thirds of what California contributes to the overall U.S. economy.
California, in many ways, feeds the U.S.
Those outside California may think good wine tells the only important story of the state’s agriculture industry. But in sheer size, the Golden State leads the nation when it comes to the value of its crops and livestock.
Data compiled by the independent, nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office shows more than $45 billion of farm production in 2015, far surpassing the runners-up of Iowa, Texas and Nebraska.
While grapes are important — the state’s third most valuable commodity, according to the analyst’s data — milk and almonds are the top two, in that order. Cattle and lettuce round out the top five.
The state is far from first in per-person federal spending
Perhaps the most intense part of the debate over Trump’s comments has centered on how much Californians pay in taxes versus how much they receive in federal services.
The answer depends on how both sides of the ledger are viewed. In its broadest definition, “federal services” include everything from monthly Social Security checks for retirees to university grants and beyond.
A study by the Pew Charitable Trusts attempted to quantify 2014 federal spending per person. On this basis, California gets a lot less than many other states.
One reason for that, say researchers: A significant portion of federal dollars is spent on retirement and healthcare subsidies for older Americans. California’s population, on the other hand, has been dominated by those younger than 65.
Californians’ taxes outweigh what the U.S. spends here
So what’s the best way to compare the amount of dollars spent by the federal government in California to the taxes paid by the state’s residents?
The Legislative Analyst’s Office, after sorting through various data collections, recently estimated that the federal government spends some $367.8 billion in California during an average year .
Of course, that includes those guaranteed benefits for older Americans, which are handed out whether the person lives in California or Arkansas. Those retirement benefits are more than 41% of the total federal spending in the LAO analysis.
On the other side of the ledger is what Californians pay in taxes. Averaging data compiled by the Internal Revenue Service over 2013, 2014 and 2015, the net annual contribution (after refunds) from Golden State taxpayers is about $356 billion.
That average could be on the way up: 2015’s total tax payment from California was substantially higher than in the two previous years.
These two estimates — annual federal payments and annual federal taxes paid — suggest that Californians continue to come up short on a dollar-for-dollar basis of services. In contrast, a number of other states continue to receive far more from the federal government than their residents pay in taxes.
And some of that money, it could be argued, comes from California.

Good evening CB. I don't think it is a secret that we conservatives are not that happy with the accomplishments of the republicans over the last 8 years! That's why we elected President Trump, a non-politician. Does he have a big mouth? Yes and he says what he thinks and feels, it's not scripted! Politicians have to take an opinion poll before they speak, they're more interested in maintaining their popularity than doing what is best for our country. President Trump will help the poor and black by cleaning up the neighborhood and creating jobs, making more safe for the families that live there, but these people are going to have to do their part. The democrates just throw a little welfare at them instead of actually looking at the problems and giving them the chance to actually change their life for them and future generations. The democrates needed to keep them dependent on them, thereby controlling the vote. President Trump heard what the average Jo Blow said all across America. We will always be a country divided into different political parties, that's what makes us a great Nation. It would be disastrous is one party totally ruled our government, but right now it's the conservatives turn and the left needs to take a deep breath and stop the childish temper-tantrums. It's going to get to the point that we are pushed into the corner with all the bullying and violence and we will push back! I really don't want to see this happen and I hope the animosity will soon stop. It's time we get back to living our lives IMO. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! Pray for our troops and Israel

I'm with ya! ! !What can these dunces know besides the propaganda fed to them by the Republicans! Most of the don't even know why they voted for Trump. Here's the answer: he's a good con man and I feel for them - especialy when they finally come to realize that fact.

Alicia,Alicia,Alicia!!! What do you call the parroting scripted dialogue that you constantly spew? Do you not read replies from conservatives or do you just not remember? We constantly shout to the rooftop why we voted for President Trump. I would tell you but I'm sure you would just ignore it or forget it! Where do you come up with these asinine assumptions?

Anyone who has any ability to reason knows that our country is in real trouble. Most Americans under age 50 were not taught factual American history and they are not aware that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism. My concern is that our court system has become political and that is not what our Constitution intended. More recently, I wrote in this format that many of our big cities are hell holes for many of their residents. One of the Loony Snowflakes responded that these were only certain areas of these cities. So, my question to that idiot was: Is it OK for the poor people who live in a blighted area of these big cities to live in the areas that are a Hell-Holes? Only a Liberal can think this way because no part of any American City should be a war zone full of drugs poor schools, poverty and ignorance.
