Not a fair assessment. There is far more to what happened. Whether or not it actually made a difference in the election is impossible--impossible--to assess. The FBI report did not--did not--say as Trump said: that there was "absolutely" no influence on election results; the FBI report specifically noted it made no attempt to measure the possible influence of alleged Russian hacking. Yes, the email disclosures themselves may have been enough, showing Hillary to be not a very trustworthy or decent person, but then Comey went against policy and procedure to announce a renewed interest in certain emails a week before the Election. And the Fox News announced an indictment was forthcoming, retracting that lie just days before the Election. No one can adequately judge the possible influence all of this had on the Election. Not you. Not anyone. Trump won, end of story.
