We've all been sickened by the video of the 69 year old doctor being knocked unconscious and dragged off the United Airlines flight to make room for 4 employees. Some of us were no doubt dismayed that the other passengers did not lift a finger to help this hapless victim. Even the late night talk shows picked up on this story and poked relentless jibes at United Airlines for this unprovoked attack on a law-abiding passenger. United Airlines' CEO even coined a new word to describe what they did to this passenger: 'Reaccommodate'. Word to the wise; if someone offers to 'reaccommodate' you, prepare to defend yourself.
Apparently, what happened to this passenger is deemed to be perfectly legal and United Airlines will not be taken to task, at least legally, for this aggression. They are however, being punished; after the passenger 'reaccommodation' video went viral, United Airlines stock lost $750M in value. Not only that, but after placing priority on its own employees over paying customers led to a 69-year-old man being bloodied, knocked unconscious and dragged from a plane earlier today, United Airlines is taking it on the chin on social media. Oh, yah.. some
innocent victim, awright, eh?
http://nypost.com/2017/04/11/doctor-dragged-off-flight-convicted-of-trading-drugs-for-sex/But, no butts about it, Airlines need
sensitivity training - yupper.
But, now with this fine little (possibly staged) debacle, the good ole dr. will be able to ride the rump ranges in style with all the intoxicants imaginable.
The entire event stinks.
That's right,
innocent victim. Whatever he was guilty of 15 years ago has no bearing on his right to be treated with common decency and respect, then or now. Anyway, look at the poor guy. That was probably the only way he could get laid.

Like I said; The whole thing stinks.
I recently flew commercial for the first time in years- always flying 'corporate' - and I was appalled at the 'sardine-like' seating and impersonal treatment.
But, I know that a seat within one of those flying cattle trucks is granted at the discretion of the owners of those conveyances.. so, I, like the other 200 or so on the flight, just 'sucked it up'.
One does not have to travel very far back in history to find evidence travel has always been stressful. Some just cannot handle any stress.

I couldn't agree more. I suppose losing 2 teeth, getting a concussion and a broken nose could be considered somewhat 'stressful', if you're some 69 year old senior citizen. I can just hear it now:
"And how was your flight, dear?
"Oh, nothing special, I managed to get a concussion, have my front teeth kicked in and my nose broken by several thugs on the plane home".
"Oh? That's nice, dear".
"They knocked me unconscious then dragged me down the gangway and off the plane. It was all mildly stressful".
"Yeah, I just left the hospital and they tell me I'll need reconstructive surgery on my face".
"Well, never mind, dear, you needed to take some time off work and unwind anyway".

your close relatives? Better still, how would you like to find out like his
daughter did? "One of Dao's five children, Crystal Pepper, said the family was "horrified, shocked and sickened" by what happened. She said it was made worse by the fact that it was caught on video". How would you like to tune into the nightly news and see your father being severely beaten by a bunch of thugs and nobody even lifting a finger to help him? Would that be OK with you? Elderly people don't just 'shrug it off' after a couple of days. This was a real beating and he may never be fully recovered from it. Elderly people have been known to die after such abuse.

"Snarky", is it?
Your emotional, publicity-hungry language had me crying in my scotch/water drink.. <sniff!>
I still think the guy got on the plane the second time for just one reason... and you are seeing it unfold. Lotsa cash, Lotsa publicity, Lotsa attention from fellow 'victims'..... and all that works with a liberal-biased media and millions of other schooled
victims.
Let me ask you something, liberal spokesman/woman/thing.. would you, after having been removed from the airplane, charge back onto the plane?
IF,it were me,I would hire the best lawyers ,,money could buy,I would sue the crap out of that airline,I dont care WHAT,it is said,he did,in the past, has no bearing,on the way he was mistreated.

But, his INTENT to cause a disturbance worth $MILLIONS$... that's just fine with you, also, isn't it?
That guy is a champion grifter.
So, who's surprised other grifters would approve... huh? Not me.

The guy is a doctor who was just trying to go home. In his eyes (and most everyone else' I might add), he paid for a seat, sat down and the deal was sealed. Even allowing that the airline could simply refuse, on a whim, to honor their end of the bargain (a doubtful proposition), there was no call to beat the daylights out of him and literally drag him off the plane. That, my friend, was dead wrong, and the 'people' (if you can call them that) responsible should be taken out back and shot for this barbaric display. What is it about this that you are having such a hard time understanding?
He has the same mentality as those that dragged the doctor off the plane.
