After being decisively defeated at Waterloo by the Duke of Wellington,No, NOT Duke Ellington! he was exiled again to the Island of St Helena where he ostensibly died; (but as we here on OPP know, he lives on vicariously in one of our posters.)
Today in 1865, Abraham Lincoln made his last public address before his assassination.
Today in 1945, for you Holocaust deniers, US Army forces liberated Buchenwald concentration camp.

That is because she is so busy spreading love and good cheer of everyone of her friends. It is wonderful to have her radiant presence on the OPP don't you agree. She sure brings cheer to me from time to time and I really look forward to her posts.
