RNC Ties To Russian Intelligence!

So it wasn’t Donald Trump alone who had ties to the Russians during the 2016 campaign. It turns out that the Republican National Committee used a firm with ties to Russian intelligence to dig up dirt on Hillary Clinton.

The RNC used former CIA officers’ firm the Hamilton Trading Group, which has “particular expertise” in Russia, to dig up dirt on Clinton according to a Politico report.

“RNC officials and the president and co-founder of Hamilton Trading Group, an ex-CIA officer named Ben Wickham, insisted the payments, which eventually totaled $41,500, had nothing to do with Russia,” Kenneth P. Vogel and Eli Stokols reported.

The RNC claimed the payments were for “security.”

“But RNC officials now acknowledge that most of the cash — $34,100 — went towards intelligence-style reports that sought to prove conflicts of interest between Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State and her family’s foundation.”

Oh.

So the RNC was perfectly comfortable working with a firm that raised eyebrows for its Russian connections, at a time when the intelligence community was telling them that Russia was interfering in the U.S. election. Imagine that! http://www.politicususa.com/2017/03/24/rnc-implicated-paying-firm-intelligence-connections-russia.html. These are Patriots?? Shame!

Let me see if I get this right. The RNC paid almost $42,000 for dirt on Clinton. What shame! My goodness, they could have at least matched what the DNC paid Ukrainian officials for dirt on our President. That price tag was around $412,000..... http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/ukraine-sabotage-trump-backfire-233446

Face it, politics is not for the faint of heart!

Gee, so the RNC hired an internationally renowned company to do some digging on the opposition and that's somehow a 'scandal'? That's taking this whole 'guilt by association' thing just about a mile or so too far. Imagine that.

Name's Larry. That's spelled 'L-A-R-R-Y'. You, however, may call me 'Mr. Legend'. And by the way, Russia is not my enemy. Not yours either. I doubt there are any Russians sitting in their little houses grinding axes for either of us so relax already, OK?

Let me get this straight. Candidate Marine Le Pen wanders into Moscow, says hi to his old buddy Vladimir Putin, and somehow Putin is meddling in the French election? As I understand it, for such a situation to exist, there must be some positive action on the part of the meddler. Putin didn't go to France, Le Pen went to Russia. Seems to me it's Le Pen doing the meddling. That's like blaming you for some action on the other side of town because someone went to your house. It's a totally senseless accusation. And by the way, even if Vladimir Putin was standing under the Arc De Triumph making speeches in favor of any random given candidate, that would be of concern to the French, not me; their election is none of my business.

You should have more respect for world leaders and their accomplishments. Vladimir Putin is well liked and respected among his countrymen. Here's a short list of his many accomplishments:

1. THE SALVATION OF RUSSIA FROM DISINTEGRATION
2. THE END OF THE WAR IN CHECHNYA
3. STRENGTHENING THE ROLE OF RUSSIA IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA
4. THE CREATION OF A SOCIALLY ORIENTED BUDGET
5. EARLY PAYMENT OF STATE DEBTS
6. THE CREATION OF THE STABILIZATION FUND AND THE NATIONAL WELFARE FUND
7. REFORM OF THE ARMY AND THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX:
8. CREATION OF INTEGRATION ASSOCIATIONS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE UNION OF INDEPENDENT STATES
9. THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPICS IN SOCHI
10. REINTEGRATION OF CRIMEA INTO RUSSIA

You'll find explanations of each item here:

roy-that makes about as much sense as you being charged with meddling in the Bank's affairs because you went
there for an auto loan. You are either very naive or totally uninformed. Putin is not a saint by any means but it is
wiser to have him as a non-threatening adversary than an arch enemy intent on doing us harm just for the sake of so doing. Why alienate someone who can help us defeat ISIS ? Would we be better off fighting ISIS with or without
their help ? You seem to have a very narrow focus and like most left wingers, its your way or the highway. Foreign policy only works if common sense is applied. It is smarter for our president to use an adversary to our advantage
than it is for that adversary to use us to his advantage. What if N. Korea continues with its nuclear delivery aspirations and both Russia and China decide to ally with them? How well do you think we would do against all three ? America First !!!

I don't know that, and neither do you. Also, it's 'against', not 'aganist', and there's a space goes between 'a' and 'lot'. You should really wait 'til you're sober to start posting, you know.
